Had to call numerous times to get a callback (first clue). Representative finally came out after rescheduling twice. Explained to representative that I was tired of repainting concrete and wanted the paint removed and the concrete stained and sealed. Received a call that my original quote would have to be increased due to product that need to be applied to get my required result and agreed. Initially cost was 2,450.00 and was increased to 2,650.00. The job was completed using a bonding agent and behr expoxy paint the same process I had used over the last few years myself (which had proven not to work, the reason I hired an alleged professional concrete company. Obiviously the cost to do this job, based on my own application is less than 800.00. I have spoken to Armando and Pedro and voiced my dissatisfaction regarding the job since June 24, 2016. They have assured me that they will correct the overpriced job for work not completed through text, email's and phone calls. I have had to call them weekly, they do not initiate any phone calls regarding my issue and it August 2, 2016. The last communication was on Friday July 29, 2016 where I was told once again they would call on Monday August 1, 2016 with a plan to correct the issue (no call). The most unreliable and non-communative business I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The service I have received regarding this issue is despicable.

They had to come back and redo it. The initial person who came out was not very professional. She was the salesperson as well as the provider and was always in a hurry to get somewhere and was kind of condescending. They were not very good communicators.

They ran into some problems originally because my concrete still had moisture in it. They actually re-did the whole job and didn't charge me an extra cent. The result is a beautiful polished floor that I hope to enjoy for years to come!

It took 3 days which is exactly what was quoted. Great communication through the project.

The work was great. It's absolutely beautiful. The guys at Val-Arm really know what they are doing.

Val-arm ground the concrete Down to expose large aggregate rocks in the slab and then polished to a high sheen. It's absolutely awesome. Thanks guys great job.

Val-Arm came out to my house on short notice and provided an accurate quote to restore the concrete on my driveway, my porch, and the walkway around the front of my home. The house is for sale and they were able to scheduling me quickly and work around a couple of showings. There workers were very professional and answered all of my questions.
The work itself is absolutely stunning. I had no idea that my cracked concrete could be made to look so amazing without replacing everything. Their process is fairly simple in that they make cuts into the concrete, fill large cracks, grind any rough spots, power wash, then stain the concrete. The final result looks like custom concrete paving slabs or concrete stamps.

Initial concrete leveling and crack repair - provided follow up to a previous job and offered to return in the future if ever a need for any minor repairs.

They're overpriced.  They actually did the work but I expected more work out of them.  What they did was okay but for what they charged; I felt ripped off.  They were there for about three and a half or four hours.  They called back and said they're going to come back and finish the work and I contacted them but they never came back.  It wasn't really done to my satisfaction.  Most of the working that they were supposed to was overpriced and they lack integrity. 

Working with Val-Arm was a breeze. They are very professional, pleasant to work with, and provided excellent service. We would definitely use them again for other concrete work. We are happy customers.

They scheduled an appointment for the quote and were timely and got me the quote the same day by emial.  They were not only the least expensive, they were available the soonest to do the work and they also seemed to be the most knowledgeable on the best way to fix the problems.  They did the work in less than a day and then came back after it dried to smooth down any rough areas.  The were punctual, cleaned the area after work and were very professional.  They also said that if we have any issues when we are laying the hardwood floors to call them and they will come over if anything areas need to be smoothed out.  I have had some bad experiences with contractors recently so i was a little worried by they were great.   I will definitely call them when I am ready for other concrete work.

We took up our laminate floor after a water leak and discovered that our foundation cracks had worsened since we bought the house 2 years ago. One crack had widened and had filling washed out by water from the leak.

Armando came out and looked at the foundation. He told us we didn't have any major foundation issues, and just needed to have the cracks ground out and filled in with epoxy to fill and stabilize them. He also offered to clean up the foundation where we had just removed a fireplace -- there was rebar sticking up out of the foundation, some globs of mortar, small holes, and old floor tiles, all of which he offered to remove. HIs estimate was lower than we received from a larger company that didn't really want to do the job because it was relatively small. We call Armando back on a Monday to schedule the work, and he sent a 2-man crew over the next afternoon. They were a little late, but not enough to be a problem. The workers covered and moved furniture, did all the work, and moved the furniture back. They used a vacuum while grinding out the cracks, which didn't eliminate the concrete dust but did minimize it. Armando called after the crew left to make sure we were satisfied, which was a nice touch. We were very pleased with the entire process, start to finish, including the quality of the work.

Was very pleased with Val-ARM's service.  Co owner Francesca was prompt & very professional when we met and she inspected property.  As she promised, I had an estimate from her in one week's time.  She then brought two workers out with her several days before work was scheduled just to verify scope of job.  They saw a few complications & estimated more hours to complete but Francesca honored her original estimate to me!  The work was done on time & looks great.  All debris including dead tree roots were removed from the premises & I have peace of mind now that the backyard concrete patios are safe as well as attractive.  Val-Arm was several thousand dollars below another co's bid, which frankly was for less work.  Obviously Val-Arm wanted the job.

Showed on time, finished on time, cleaned up completely -- and it looks great! Received lots of compliments! Great service!

The service was perfect.This is the second time using Val-Arm and I must say I was not disappointed. Once again their concrete resurfacing work was fantastic. The outcome was amazing, price very competitive and they were able to accommodate my family's schedule. They definitely proved to be a first class company. If you want a job done right don't hesitate to call Armando at Val-Arm. I can't express enough praise for Sergio who is in my opinion an artist the work he did for me both times turned out beautiful.
