"Professional, Efficient, and Clean Work hired Mr. Lee to patch a damaged section of my kitchen wall, and I'm very pleased with the results. He arrived on time, completed the job in about two hours, and left the area neat and tidy. The patch blends seamlessly with the surrounding wall-smooth finish, no visible seams, and ready for paint. If you need reliable, high-quality drywall repair without the hassle, I highly recommend Mr. Lee. Great value for honest, skilled work!"

"This company is amazing and affordable! Not long after I moved into my new place a pipe burst in my garage and damaged the ceiling and walls of the garage and the kitchen that is positioned on the other side of the wall. They completed the job very fast and left it looking brand new. I will definitely be reaching out to Ryan if I need more drywall work!"

"We had Lugo’s Construction come out to repair a door at our home, and we were very impressed with their service. Pedro responded promptly even though it was the weekend, which we really appreciated. Communication was clear and professional from the start. They were arrived exactly when they said they would, and completed the repair efficiently and effectively. The door works perfectly now, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. We would definitely recommend them and are already working with them for future projects. Thank you Pedro!"

"Adrian responded promptly, arrived in time for the bid and again when he started the job, cleaned up (completely) when the job was done, and the work was perfect (badly distorted drywall between two hall doorways he floated the wall and restored the knockdown to where you can t tell there was ever a problem). The work performed was a great value. I ll definitely call them again, if I have another project."

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

If you don’t backfill a retaining wall—either at all or adequately enough—the wall won’t drain well, and water will be able to pass through it. Poor drainage will lead to a warped wall or a buildup of hydrostatic pressure, which can eventually collapse your retaining wall. If you have particularly sloped land, consult a structural engineer to ensure your hardscaping is adding value to your home.

Installation typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the wall’s size and site conditions.

Most railroad tie retaining walls have a life span of 20 to 30 years, though you may need to replace your wall sooner if it’s repeatedly exposed to heavy rain, runoff, and excess moisture. Railroad ties are typically treated with creosote, which makes them much more durable than untreated wood. Though they last longer, they don’t last forever. For the most longevity, make sure your retaining wall has a sturdy base and steel reinforcements. You should also install drainage to direct water away from the wall.

There are contractors specifically trained in the design and construction of retaining walls. Retaining wall contractors are skilled at dealing with the soil on your property and assessing what kind of drainage should be installed. They will recommend the best materials to use for the project and can handle the processing of permits by local authorities.

To maintain the integrity of your landscape, a retaining wall must be installed if the slope of the angle exceeds 35 degrees. The lean of the wall must be 1 inch per 12 inches in height to disperse the weight of the soil uniformly and guarantee the correct drainage of the soil.
