"This was a difficult project, owing to the no-cripple-wall construction of my house and the ridiculously tight crawl space - less than a foot in critical spots - plus the maze of beams and ducts. I called six or seven plumbers to come out and bid the work and two of them ran screaming (well, not really, they just told me they needed to work up an estimate 'back at the office' and never called back). One guy swore I'd have to rip out a wall AND the floor to get to the pipe. Mr. Rooter didn't propose anything so dramatic. They just said they'd excavate as needed to make room to move around. So that's what they did. They billed it as a two-day job. They showed up on time, and the work was wrapped up by the third hour of the second day. Because that, I was concerned this job had been overbilled. Their bid had been astronomical, but it was still lower than everyone's except the guy with the lapsed bond. Mr. Rooter had been willing to negotiate and I knocked about $650 off their initial bid. They took another $200 off at the back end because of my concern with overbilling. They didn't have to do that since they had a signed contract in hand, but they were willing to take care of a customer. Thumbs up for that. The work looks solid, as far as this layman can tell. Everything drains as it should and none of the joints leak."

Then a few days later the demolition of the backyard was completed along with the foundation for the drip system was laid and the front yard sprinkler system was placed and then the lawn the following week. He brought a crew of 5 - 6 for two of the three days. they came fully equipped for the job at hand. His crew was friendly, professional and very hard working. Best of all they hauled away all the debris and cleaned up at the end of each day. End result fully functional sprinkler system, a home that now has amazing curb appeal, a green lawn. the backyard looks completely updated and a drip system that is up and running. Thanks to Del Mar Landscape the home looks twenty years younger."
