"Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

Unresponsive - provider was initially very responsive via text, but when contacting to enact a 90-day warranty due to issues with work completed, responses went from sparse to no response Details: Worked with SV Air Experts for 2 jobs - 1. Air Duct Cleaning 2. Air Duct Repair as a follow-up from the first job. Overall was very thorough with working with me to solve an issue regarding a stench from one of the vents. He was initially very responsive and worked with me to find solutions. It all went south when shortly after his repair work, I noticed one of the vents loosened up and needed re-repair. After reaching out various times, my contact stopped responding through text, email, and phone so I escalated to Angi to help. After a couple of days, the contact reached back out, scheduled a time, and conducted the re-repair. While my experience was not ideal, I do feel that SV Air Experts did a good job with the duct cleaning and would likely recommend it for Duct Cleaning only. I would heed caution with any other work."

"This is a small company. The wife answers the phone and makes appointments. She was very prompt in returning my call, friendly and professional. On the day of the appointment she texted me when he was on his way so I would know when to expect him. I never know what to expect when someone shows up at my door. One time I hired someone who just stood there staring at me when I opened the door and I had to ask if he was who I assumed he was. Not Mr. Utor. He was clean and professional, introduced himself and handed me his card. He immediately picked up on my bare feet and kicked his shoes off before he stepped inside, which always makes me and my light carpet happy. The repair went smoothly, he had a well equipped vehicle and didn't have to run to the store to get parts like some of the folks I've hired. He asked me about my air filter and took a look at it just to make sure. I'm pretty good about changing it but when he pulled it out it did indeed need to be replaced. I had one on hand and he installed it for me. I didn't shop price at all so it wouldn't be right for me to comment on that other than to say that I feel that what I paid was fair. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."
