James is prompt, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator when a furnace seemingly gives up the ghost on a freezing cold morning. He got it running again and then took time to teach us how to troubleshoot issues with our furnace for our future reference . Who knew that our furnace was communicating by light flashing patterns and where to find the interpretation? James, of course, and we appreciated his teaching and excellent service.

I request a quote for AC repair at 11pm on Saturday. James called me within a few minutes and got a 2-hour window on Sunday from him to come to diagnose the issue. He was on time and got the problem resolved quickly. James found that the existing system is under-sized and explained in detail on how to improve the overall system should we want to upgrade it. He went over the pros and cons of each of the options so that we can make an informed decision.

James diagnosed the problem quickly and worked conscientiously and expeditiously to replace the wall heater and a damaged vent incorrectly installed. He patiently explained the presence of carbon monoxide and went beyond my expectations in correcting the problem by going on the roof to do the additional vent work within the original cost. All the while he kept the work area clean and free of debris and dust for the benefit of the resident and was personable and professional in demeanor at all times as would be expected from someone evincing the highest standards of his craft. I would definitely hire him again for such consequently work as heating when lives could be in the balance.

We have an older furnace and the technician carefully checked that it was safe by examining the furnace interior with both video and CO analysis tools. Our furnace needed a new motor, which was ordered and installed, but the technician was careful to ensure that it was operating correctly. It was not, and he took the time to determine why the motor was operating incorrectly. He was able to fix it and our furnace was restored to good operating condition. We were very appreciative that Lunar was able to send the technician quickly whereas other larger companies would not send anyone for one or two weeks. That is too long to wait for a broken furnace during winter. Lunar came through and fixed our furnace!
