"Above and beyond all expectations in quality of work, real customer care AND amazing prices that are literally a quarter of some other providers - I checked several that either exaggerate, up and cross sell garbage add ons that don’t help you. These guys are straight forward and there to help you. If you need any work around mold, toxins remediation then do yourself a favor - stop wasting time shopping around - these are folks you need to call asap! Michael took time to explain things to me, educate me on issues and talk through options. He was genuinely happy to understand my situation, listen and then really work as a strategic thought partner to solve my specific needs including timing flexibility (and much more). We have other work going on, family issues and a baby on the way. Michael took all this into consideration when problem solving for me. Then for the work - so pleasant all the way through and exceptional job - the numbers don’t lie - problem solved at less than a quarter the price of other providers who don’t about the customer and are out to ream you. These guys are there to solve your specific problems, really care and it shows. Everything perfect but then at the end a misunderstanding where I wasn’t clear on something needed. They took a minute to review my issue and then jumped on for several more hours AT NO EXTRA CHARGE telling me that all that matters is I get what I need and my family is safe from mold and toxins and I have peace of mind. I could say so much more amazing things but that would go on forever. So let me just sum up with the point: If you ever have mold remediation, toxin remediation needs than you call these folks - you will win on price, service, quality, and feel like your working with a friend who happens to be an expert in this sort of stuff. Look no further - they are the very best."

Customers say: True professional

"We hired McCormick to remodel our master bathroom, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. Khaled guided us through everything, and his team was skilled and respectful. They handled the job efficiently, stayed within budget, and kept our home tidy. Now, our bathroom feels like a relaxing oasis, with high-quality finishes and a modern touch we love. McCormick’s attention to detail really made the difference, and I’d gladly hire them for future remodels. This experience was everything we hoped for."

Small jobs welcome

"Jeremiah came out and tested the air and moisture and other items to determine if I had mold in my basement. After getting the test results there was evidence of mold and he recommended a company that provides a do it yourself kit for mold remediation. (Not cheap). After getting the items and realizing that there was more work, it would have been better for me to let my insurance company handle this as I do have coverage for mold/fungi. Though having a professional do the work is expensive, from what Jeremiah mentioned, it does not guarantee that the work will be complete or the source of the problem taken care of. He mentioned most companies will take care of the mold but not necessarily the cause of the mold. For this I would have to contact another company."

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Figuring out why you have a musty smell in your house is the first step to getting rid of it. Mold or mildew is most likely causing the unpleasant odor. People use these terms interchangeably, but they’re actually different.

Mold is a fungus that loves to grow in moist, humid places. It’s typically black or green and has a raised, uneven texture. Stay vigilant for signs mold may be growing in your home.

You’ll find mildew growing on your shower walls and in your bathroom’s nooks and crannies. It’s a specific type of mold that grows flat. Mildew is usually white, gray, or yellow.

Several household cleaning products will permanently kill mold, most notably vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Bleach can also kill mold, but usually just on the surface. Any mold lingering underneath will survive.

For moldy areas larger than 10 square feet, you'll want to hire a professional mold remediation company to determine the best way to permanently remove the mold. A local mold inspector can help you determine the extent of a mold problem, and what steps you need to take to eradicate it.

If there is only a small mold problem, then you might be able to remove it and save the kitchen cabinets by acting fast. However, if the mold is severe, has spread to other parts of your kitchen or home, or is impacting sensitive family members, then you should replace the cabinets. A kitchen cabinet installation costs between $2,000 and $11,100, or $6,400 on average.

Humidity, moisture, and a lack of ventilation can all cause mold to grow on surfaces in and around your home.

Many caulk alternatives are safe for use in kitchens and food preparation areas, provided you apply them correctly and let them cure for the right amount of time. If you’re unsure about this step, call in a pro to do it for you. Silicone putty and caulk strips are often used around sinks and countertops due to their waterproof and flexible nature. Always choose products labeled as safe for kitchen use and follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper application and curing.
