"I had broken the handle on our microwave. Ordered the part online and they told me it was an easy fix. Watched Youtube videos and it seemed easy. It was not. That is when I called Airflow Appliance Repair. One of the three pros recommended by Home Advisor. They told me if it was an easy fix it would be $90 but if they had to take off the door $150. I knew already it would cost $150. It took him a while becasue it was not easy but he did a great job. Highly recommend."

"I am going to give their advice a try, meanwhile I am confident that if I have any further issues Mr Appliance of Malibu will respond quickly and promptly. They have already given me a quote should I need extended services, but I really can't say enough how much I appreciated their honesty in advising me to try and fix it on my own first.

"I called Goodfellas Construction for a estimate and they were able to send a gentleman by the name of Ran out to my place the same day. He was very professional and patient with my wife and I throughout the whole process from contract negotiations to the end of project. Ran explained the contract to us very clearly. Who provided what and who was paying for what was clearly described in the contract. Ran knew what we were looking for in terms of design and looks for our small bathroom right from the start of project. If there were any issues that came up during the project, all I needed to do was call Ran and he took care of it and made it happen. Not once did he suggest to us to remodel our bathroom a different way because the issue could not be solved. All in all, my wife and I were very satisfied with the work that was done with our remodel. I would recommend Ran and Goodfellas Construction to anyone who needs some remodeling done."

"I contacted Yari over the phone. Even though he was busy, he was very good about returning my call and scheduling an appt. He visited the property and keep me informed about the repairs since I don't live locally. Unfortunately, I was not able to see the work done. However, the tenant seemed happy and satisfied. Yari was efficient, friendly, and professional."

Walt (Pops to most) started in 1972 repairing shoes and handbags. Over time in responding to his customers he has added a broad array of services to better serve his public. We pride ourselves in somewhat an "old fashioned" way of conducting business. We have a habit of getting to know most of our customers, and have a fantastic group that has been visiting us for 40 years. Small Appliance Repair questions, answered by experts

If you can’t get your microwave to stop tripping the breaker, hire a local appliance repair professional. They have the skills to quickly identify the problem and fix it. These professionals also have the knowledge and experience of working with appliances, so they know how to take the proper precautions to minimize the risk of electrical shock and fires.

A professional microwave installation typically takes between one and three hours. The exact time depends on the model and the complexity of the job. Countertop units are the quickest to set up, while built-in, drawer, and vented over-the-range microwaves often take 1-2 hours for a standard replacement. The installation could extend to three hours if new electrical wiring or custom cabinetry modifications are required.

In most cases, it is more cost-effective to repair a microwave rather than replace it, especially if the appliance is relatively new and not nearing the end of its typical seven-year lifespan. The average cost to repair a microwave is around $175, whereas a replacement can average $500, including the new unit and installation. The cost of a new microwave varies significantly by type, from $50 to $500 for a countertop model to as much as $3,500 for a combination oven. If your microwave is less than five years old, a repair is likely the better financial choice. However, if it is approaching the end of its life—usually around seven to eight years old—replacing it might be more sensible in the long run.

Examples include microwaves, garbage disposals, and small dishwashers. Confirm with your provider for specific items.

Countertop microwaves are the most common type of microwave. This is because they don't require installation; all a countertop microwave needs is a stable surface and an outlet. Low-end countertop microwaves can be found for less than $100 with high-end models going for up to $700, making them an accessible option for most people.
