Told us they would come on the 22nd. Came on the 2nd instead. As a 'make good', they promised they would haul away some garbage. Didn't haul away anything and blamed us when we complained. Tore down a section of our neighbors fence without their approval, and then tried to gouge him to put up a new one, and when they complained, they were going to put up the old fence which they had run a chainsaw through. The work was mediocre, and they left garbage and nails(I have dogs who could have been hurt) all over the place. When I tried to give feedback in good faith, he blamed me. Not to mention they tore the fence down on a Friday(the 22nd was a Thursday and the job would have been done before the weekend), didn't put up any sort of temporary fence, and then went on their Easter holiday Friday around 1pm. We had to make sure our dogs didn't go into the backyard for 4 days because of this. If they had come on the 22nd, our dogs would have had 1 evening of not being able to go outside. Didn't dig the postholes and add cement until minutes before they built the fence(could have done this Friday). The fence looks 'okay'. Really disappointing, since they had such positive reviews on Yelp.

"Hey [Member Name Removed], Thank you for posting this as the most important thing for my business is customer satisfaction. Everything you're pointing out I will take and use to better myself and my business. As I stated in all my emails I'm still willing to come pick up more trash for a second trip all complimentary as initially promised. I was never oppose to any of your good faith requests and tried for over a week to get a hold of you. I called 2-3 times and emailed twice. As I stated before customer satisfaction is my top priority. I asked, for this second trip which will continue to be complementary, that the trash be in a pile ready to go. Remember this is your personal trash/old backyard furniture that I'm hauling for free. You didn't like this request. There are some other items I'd like to clarify for others who are reading this. - I emailed you on the 31st asking if we can start Friday. You said "Thanks Mykel!" This was three weeks early and I thought you'd be happy about that. I would never send a crew three weeks early without letting the customer know. - The neighbors fence issue was an unfortunate situation and something I will definitely learn from. They mentioned they wanted there 8' of fence done as well. My guys had one more day there so to make it the cheapest possible for them I had my guys work on it before the confirmation of the price. I knew my price would be good and figure they'd be happy. My mistake. If I remember correctly I charged him $450 for 8' of fence. This is simply the exact linear ft price of your fence. Had I priced it like a regular job it would be almost double that. He didn't like that and asked me to do it for $150. I told him I can put back the fence with new framing and existing pickets for free. I figured this solution would be best. I didn't realize the condition of the old pickets so I constructed an entirely new 8' fence for $150. Again customer satisfaction is my top priority. $450 is extremely fair for 8' of fence. I pride myself with competitive pricing while being transparent and honest. - We use fast setting concrete as all fence contractors do. The only way to build a fence in one day. Concrete sets in 30 minutes. - Nails and mess is something I do not tolerate. This is the first time I'm hearing of this and I'll be sure to talk to my guys. This is not acceptable. Again I am still willing to come for another trash haul 100% complementary. Hoping to hear from you soon."

Mykel and his team did a wonderful job replacing my old deck with a new redwood deck. I wasn’t sure on the railing I wanted, and Mykel was so helpful when it came time to choose (I went with the cable railing at his recommendation and it was a great choice. Looks lovely). Overall so happy with my choice, and I am quick to recommend them to all my friends who need fencing or any other exterior upgrades

The fence project had some issues related to neighbour factors, not under my or their control. Otherwise, great. Beautiful custom designed fence. The ADU build went well, especially considering it was their first.

So far it was excellent. They really do an excellent job and he pays attention to every detail. He did all kinds of services. Mykel Hicks was my general contractor.
