"After wour father passed away in January, we decided to keep his home and prepare it for a rental.  As we needed new carpeting and window coverings throughout, we contacted several companies for bids one carpeting and for mini-blinds.
After reviewing Angie's List, we walked into Felikian's on a Saturday morning.  We were immediately greeted by Andre, the manager.  He listened as we explained our situation and then offered to show us samples.  He did not try to up-sell us but rather explained what he thought best for a quality rental property.
We made arrangements for Andre to visit the property to measure the floor and windows.  He called a couple days later and gave us the estimate for carpeting and then mini-blinds.  We returned to see him the following Saturday and paid for the work.  Although I had my Angie's List ad for Felikians, offering no sales tax, in my briefcase, Andre presented us with his written estimate and it already included the no tax offer.  We were pleased.
Andre called a few days later and said that they would be ready to install the carpeting and mini-blinds.  We delivered the keys to him and explained how to turn off the home's alarm.  On the day they arrived to install, our handyman, a trusted friend, was there to do other work.  He called me later to tell me how professional, efficient and friendly the installers were.
When we visited the property a few days later, we inspected everything and were amazed at the qu ality of the products and the work as performed.  Andre and Felikian's Carpeting are outstanding!

"A Kitchen remodel - you generally hear people talk about these in hushed whispers as they share disaster stories of blown budgets, extended timelines and general unpleasantness. We'd already experienced one contractor - a family referral - who seemed to be allergic to actually doing any work, so eventually we turned to Yelp. We went for firms with the most and best reviews and set up consults. Ben Hoded turned up on time, big smile on his face and charisma the size of our Kitchen. Compared to the previous consults he asked way more questions, pointing out where additional costs would be in our 1950's home with its ancient electrical and plumbing. Even though his estimate was 15% higher than the next closest quote we went with Pearl based on our intuition around Ben. The process was **** near perfect: communication was outstanding, all teams turned up on time, were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and seemed genuinely happy to be working. Ben was a constant presence, on site and off, fielding texts and phone calls. When decisions had to be made he delivered just enough information without tipping the scales one way or another (very smart move!) On the rare occasion where a ball was dropped he was proactive in solving the problem - at no time did we lose confidence in him or the project. 6 weeks later we have an amazing new kitchen delivered inside timescale and on budget. We also have a new go to contractor who will be getting our bathroom business as soon as budget allows."
