"We have lived in our home since 1985 and had done only minor improvements.  We decided to remodel rather than to move to a new house.  We researched several contractors, narrowed it down to three--of which Pristine was one.  
From the beginning I was impressed with Pristine. First, they are not a huge, mega-contractor.  We didn't want to get lost in a big company with multiple project managers juggling dozens of jobs. Nathan Moses and his partner Mike Malka are owner-contractors, and they are very hands-on. Once the work began, we saw either one or both of them every single day. Once the work began, their crew came every single day.  I never felt we were anything but a number one priority for them.  They are a small, quality company that limits the number of their jobs and uses a minimal number of subcontractors.  I liked that.  With Pristine you won't get lost among countless other clients.
Initially,  Nathan Moses came to our home and discussed what Pristine could do. He invested quite a bit of time, coming back three or four times, to talk to me and my wife. This was the first time we had ever done anything of this scope, and I was impressed with his willingness to return and discuss our potential remodel.  We received bids from two other contractors. Although Pristine's bid was higher than the other two, we decided we had more faith and trust in Nathan Moses and Pristine.  We did our homework, read the reviews on line, checked up on references and visited a neighbor only a few blocks away where Pristine was just completing a large remodel. In all cases they received stellar recommendations.  And the quality of their work is something you can actually see if you visit any of the homes they have done.  This separates them from the others.
We waited a short period of time for the actual work to be done. The whole job was to take approximately three to four months--and that estimate turned out to be accurate. We initiated two change orders that may have lengthened the job slightly, but Nathan and his partner Mike Malka were very good about estimating the time the work would take to complete and kept us completely in the loop on all scheduling issues.  Costs were also in line with the initial bid and the only cost increases were ones that we initiated.
Pristine also has good, solid relationships with appliance providers, tile and flooring retailers, plumbing fixture retailers, etc. and gave excellent guidance helping us select the products used for our remodel.
Nathan and Mike are excellent.  They are intent on delivering  quality and strong customer service.  Most of their crew have been with them for several years.  They take extreme pride in the quality of craftsmanship they provide.  If it's not right, they fix it.  They have very high standards.  
I should also say that they go the extra mile. They do things "the right way" even if it might cost them more time or money.  They also did things that went beyond the contracted scope of work--and didn't charge extra for them.  For example, they installed extra LED lights, they added an extra window sill above the kitchen sink in Caesar Stone, they sanded down a desk of ours and resealed it--all at no additional cost to us.
I found them very easy to work with.  Nathan and Mike were always available to me.  They were always very responsive to our needs. If I needed information, they provided it.  They returned phone calls immediately.  
They also have tremendous expertise over a wide range of construction areas.  Their knowledge of construction techniques is extremely impressive.  
Nathan and Mike are also men of character and integrity.  I admire them greatly. In a funny way, even after four months of the chaos of remodeling, I was a little sad to see them go.  I had heard horror stories about the remodeling experience.  That was not the case with Pristine. In many ways it was one of the best experiences I've ever had; it was a very creative time.  I really enjoyed seeing them transform our home into someplace really special and for that I am very grateful to Nathan and Mike.  In many ways they are truly artists.
They have developed an outstanding reputation built on the quality of their work and the quality of their character.  I would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever to anyone looking for construction services.

"We started working with KN from a cold marketing call they placed to us. We needed kitchen granite counter tops. The owner came to our house that same afternoon and gave us a price we couldn't resist. The workers showed up exactly when they had promised, did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and left. 

Immediately after this, we found out we have water damage and mold in our kitchen. After the insurance assigned contractor took care of mold, we hired KN to reconstruct our entire kitchen that was gutted by water remediation. They changed our laminate flooring to tile, added 12 pull outs inside our cabinets and then started the meticulous work of cleaning, sanding and staining our oak cabinets. The painters spent a lot of time covering every surface with either paper or plastic to protect it against the stain spraying. And they isolated the whole kitchen with plastic curtains so the sanding dust and staining spray wouldn't damage the furniture outside kitchen.  

We also asked them to take out the florescent lighting in both our kitchen and kids' bathroom and replace it with recessed lighting. The electricians did that effortlessly and the ceiling damage was repaired and ceiling painted later by the painters. 

The different workers who came to do each part of the job were very responsible. They had good communication with us and kept us informed of what was coming next. They all cleaned up after themselves.

The owner was constantly in phone communication with us to make sure things are going well. I never had a phone call that was not taken care of right away. They worked weekends and holidays to finish the work faster and return our kitchen to us. 

The finished work looks beautiful, all the parts match each other perfectly, the new color of the cabinets make them look brand new! 

The only thing that I would have liked to see more of was for the owner to better coordinate between the subcontractors so they wouldn't get in each other's way and work most efficiently. I had to do some of that myself. 
We have some more upgrades we need to do in the house and we intend to ask KN to do them for us."

"Golan, the I.N.G. crew, and all the specialists with whom we worked were great. Ours wasn't a huge job, and it took us a while (just before the holidays!) to figure out how much we wanted to tackle, but Golan was the perfect balance of attentive and patient. The initial estimates we received were logical and fair, and the only changes to the costs of the project came after clear and careful communication and agreement. Probably the most impressive moment of our experience came when we were out to dinner late on a Monday night, miles away from home, unaware of the rain that had started falling near our house. Golan was all over it, though: he called me on my cell until I answered (noisy restaurant), then personally hurried over to our house to make sure the exposed construction in progress was properly covered and protected. Ours wasn't a huge job, so (understandably) we weren't a high priority for some of the subcontractors, but Golan got them all coming and going in sequence, dodging the unpredictable LA winter rains, with almost no hiccups. The work they did looks great -- including sections where you can't tell any work was done, at all -- and as a cherry on top of the completed job, they even managed to find stone tiles that matched those from years ago that had fallen off a column out front. I would definitely reach out to Golan and ING again for future projects."
