"Always anxious hiring unknown contractor of any type in this case 100% happy! Ollie Hodge was great! He did exactly what he said he would, when he said he'd do it and the finished product is beautiful. He cleaned up well after the work was finished and the price was very fair. We could not be happier. We definitely recommend him to anyone needing tile work."

"

We didn't satisfy his initial service (which I believe was just an accident nothing to do with their quality of service), and contact them again and receive immediate positive response to come back to do the service again.  FIVE STAR service !!! Highly recommended. Reasonable price for the additional sq ft.  We have hired multiple people for different types of service needs for the new house that we just recently move in.  None of them can top Concrete & marble Transformerz's service.

"Everything was done to perfection.
And the Black ink he removed has zero trace and did not harm color or fabric texture, this took lots of time and patience but he saved my expensive sofa.
The new Urine treatment was also excellent.. No urine smells or coloring change was the result
Jason is a perfectionist and personable, am very shocked I am the first reviewer.  - Today he is coming to do the inside leather cleaning and conditioning as well as the carpets with his powerful steam machine.  Sp there will be another review for me to write soon.

"They did a great job on my new Tile Backsplash. It was a small joib other companies didn't want to bother with. These guys didn't heistate, Came out right away and did a very professional job. Handled our expensive high end tile with care. Planned out their steps and produced a beautiful job. I'd highly recommend them for your next tile project."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, it is better to cut tile wet when using a fast-moving wet saw to reduce dust and chipping. However, tile can be cut dry when using just about any cutting tool. Dry cutting will result in a bigger mess and may increase the risk of chipping or cracking, but if you’re just making small cuts, dry cutting is a safe and viable option. Cutting dry also means you can apply tile grout sooner, so it’s better for rushed projects.

Tile costs vary by material; for example, ceramic tends to be more affordable than stone. These influence installation timelines and skill requirements.

Porcelain is a relatively affordable, mid-range countertop material. It typically costs between $50 to $70 per square foot.

Compared to quartz, porcelain is slightly more affordable, as quartz generally ranges from $50 to $200 per square foot. However, lower-quality, builder's grade quartz can be similar in price to porcelain.

Compared to granite, the price can be similar, depending on the quality of the stone. While granite slabs can range from $50 to $200 per square foot, you can find lower-end granite in the same price range as porcelain. High-end granites will cost significantly more.

Porcelain is generally more expensive than laminate, acrylic, and ceramic, but less expensive than high-end slate, concrete, and marble. A key benefit is that porcelain does not require sealing, which reduces long-term maintenance costs.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.

Natural stone floors, especially pebble-style tiling, are one of the least slippery options for a shower floor. Natural stone has a texture to reduce slickness, and pebble-shaped tiles add more visual and textural contrast while reducing slippage. Vinyl tiles are also designed with anti-slip texture for added safety. If you have a slippery tile, be sure to add a grippy shower mat to reduce the risk of falls.
