"Several years ago, Garafano Electric replaced the original wiring in my 1931 home. I knew from my experience with William, the owner, and his electricians, Bob and Roger, that I would return to Garafano for any future work. In late summer, I decided to improve and increase the lighting on the stairways leading from the street to my front door. I called Garafano Electric and made an appointment with William. He was punctual, and, as usual, provided excellent ideas for accomplishing my goal. He suggested a vendor who could provide the surface mounted lights at a very reasonable price. On the installation date, William, Roger, and Junior arrived at the appointed time and reviewed the proposed work with me. Several hours later, the job was completed--neatly and professionally--and the results are perfect. This job required the drilling of several holes through the garage's very thick concrete walls. In addition, the wiring for the deck light is concealed much more effectively than I thought possible. Garafano remains tops on my list."

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.

"I can't say enough great things about Ciro. It was the first time I used him, and most certainly will not be the last! The installation and finish on the drywall was truly done by an artisan, not just an installer! The corners on the windows were so sharp you could almost cut yourself. Ciro was very professional, prompt, and responsive. Where other contractors dropped the ball, he jumped in to help. He even made specific suggestions regarding things that needed to be done that the other contractors had missed. For example, he noted that the edges around the windows had not been insulated/sealed properly. He did that for me at no extra charge. Also, after my carpenter blew me off, Ciro jumped in and installed all of the insulation for a very reasonable price. He fit me into his schedule so my carpenter's error did not mess up MY schedule! I recall getting some quotes that were slightly lower, but those contractors did not know anywhere near as much about drywall as Ciro. It was well worth the price! He was also very reasonable and professional. I am NOT a contractor, but I was contracting this project on my own property. Ciro was honest and helpful in recommending the best way to install the drywall, and even how to coordinate with other trades. THANK YOU!"

"OUTSTANDING! With just 2 days notice, Joe sent one of his outstanding staff members (Mikey) to fix the hole I made in our ceiling. The repair job was done so well that it's almost impossible to see where I almost fell through from the attic. During Mikey's ceiling repair visit I asked Joe to give us a quote for the outside valve replacement and plumbing box installation project. The price was so good (almost half the amount quoted by another company) we asked them to handle this as well. This project was not only handled quickly, Mikey upgraded the setup for better access. He even colored the new concrete to match our existing patio area where the valve box needed to be installed."

"My point of contact was Tony! Very responsive, professional and cooperative. He had a crew of 2 guys to complete the work and they did an EXCELLENT job. Tony was also very accommodating as we had a tight deadline to have the work completed by. Even when one of the rooms didn't turn out the way I wanted because I chose the wrong color, Tony accommodated my request and re-painted the room. I asked that he install a ceiling fan in a room and he let me know that the ceiling could not support the fan. I appreciate him letting me know and not just finding a way to jam the fan in. Overall Tony and his crew did an excellent job and were professional, honest and responsive. I would hire them again and I highly recommend them for any of your home projects.

"He was very prompt - actually early, which never happens. The only issue was that the lights only stayed on for about five seconds (I admittedly didn't want them to stay on very long but that was way too short), so I called him and he came right out to adjust them. After the adjustment, they were still staying on the same amount of time, but he texted me, told me how to adjust them myself, and followed up to see if I was successful. Which I was. 
I would use City Lights again.
