"Manual worked with me to get the stucco trimmed back for my paving job. Then he redid the stucco and put a brown coat on. That itself looked much better than the old stucco. Then came shelter in place and he couldn't get the final coating for about a month and a half. At the very end of May he got the coating and finished the job. (The job started the middle of December.) He and his crew are hard workers and pay attention to detail. I would not hesitate to hire them again. The house looks great."

"My 1940's little bungalow had single-pane, metal-grid casement windows.  Some didn't close all the way; some didn't open.  They were drafty and had lots of condensation and black gunk that would collect every winter.  I had been pricing windows for six months.  I had received three quotes from companies, and they were all way over my budget.  I was about to give up when a friend suggested I go with her to the Five Star showroom in Campbell just to look at windows.  I didn't want to go since I felt that any windows would just be out of my budget, but I agreed since she was also in the market for windows.  I spoke with Jeff (owner) about the different windows for about an hour. He was very nice and didn't seem to mind giving us his time.  I mentioned to him that I was not in the market for windows because of the cost but he still asked if he could bid.  I didn't want to waste his time, but I agreed he could come to my house to quote me.   We talked for over an hour at my home.  He was very genuine.  He talked at length about the configurations I wanted.  He prepared the quote the same day (giving me everything I wanted when the other companies were telling me that I'd have to sacrifice something to get the price down). He was considerably lower than the other companies I spoke with, and he gave me Milgard windows, which the others didn't want to quote me on.  I like the look of Milgards so I was quite surprised that all of a sudden they were affordable to me!   I was so surprised by the quote that I didn't want him to change his mind :-), so I was ready to sign.  We scheduled the install for April.   Also?I impressed upon him how important it was for me not to lose my 5" window sills because my cats love to sit in the windows.  He promised I would not lose any space, and he and the installers made sure I ended up with 5" window sills.  My kitties are very happy!   I thought perhaps I was being trivial, but Jeff understood the importance of them from my perspective.  I appreciated that he took my concerns seriously.
The installation went very well.  Two installers came (Jeff and Greg).  They were very professional and did take great care in making sure nothing in my home was damaged or got dirtied and that nothing affected my immediate neighbors. I was asking a lot of questions (and probably got in their way, but I've never gone through something like this before, and I enjoyed learning about it), but they were always very nice to me.  When (by the third day), they realized that they would need assistance to finish on time, they brought additional help the following day.  The reason why my windows took 4 days to install was (I think) because I had all metal windows, and they had to saw through all of the grids.  Very noisy!   The only problems that came out of the install were that the bathroom window came clear (instead of opaque) and a few window screens were scratched.  They hung a shade for me in the bathroom until they could get the correct window, and they brought me new screens for the damaged ones. The office staff (Heather and Ragina) were very prompt in responding to my issues and resolved them all satisfactorily.  Jeff (owner) was always available if I had questions and issues.  I felt very taken care of!  I have recommended them to my friends.   It was a very painless process for me (except for the noise).   I am so happy with my windows.  They have made a real difference in the comfort level in my house.  They definitely reduce the airport noise, and even when my house is cold, it does not have a chill in the air like before with my old windows.  I think it was one of the best decisions I made!   I was very thankful that I had such a great company to work with!"

"My wife and I decided to have our master bathroom remodeled and phoned around to several contractors for quotes. While many of the quotes were in the same price range, we decided to work with Brother & Brother Builders because of the professionalism of the project coordinator, Dror Postiner—this was one of the best decisions we made. On initial impressions, Dror was on time for the meeting and followed through on every promise made—down to sending us the quote within 24 hours of meeting with us. Dror listened to what we wanted in the remodel and never pressured us into more work or features. He did not try to upsell us when we asked about our guest bathroom remodel as well, but instead encouraged us to let their work speak for itself and wait until we see the work in the master bathroom to decide whether to proceed on the guest bathroom. Their work speaks for itself! Once we decided to work with Brother & Brother, Dror met with us within that week to sign the contract and to schedule the demolition. After scheduling the demolition date, Dror met us at showrooms to buy the finish materials for the project and to help us pick the right materials. He was always on time for these meetings and would let us know where it was best to spend our money (shower fixtures, tile, etc) and where to save money (toilet, accessories, etc), and what products and materials would look well together. The master bathroom remodel was scheduled within a very reasonable timeframe and began on schedule. The crew assigned to our house was very professional and came to work every day. They were very respectful of our home and did all they could to minimize dust, putting down drop cloths and craft paper to protect the floors and cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. Dror and the crew would also continuously check in with to make sure the features and fixtures we purchased were being installed to our satisfaction and specifications. The remodel of the master bathroom was proceeding so smoothly and effortlessly, including passing all City inspections, that we signed on for the guest bathroom and some drywall work in the master bedroom. The quoting and scheduling process went just as smooth and the work was scheduled to begin immediately after the master bathroom was completed. Once the master bathroom was finished and the guest bathroom was started, the work for the guest bathroom proceeded along the same reasonable timeline as the master bathroom, with all City inspections passed as well. Any time we had a question related to the work, schedule, or inspection, Dror made sure to take care of our questions or concerns. Dror ensured that we never had to worry about the project—even when there were unforeseen challenges—we never had to worry that we’d be left with any issues. It was always taken care of. Both bathrooms and the master bedroom (which also included some exterior stucco work due to a new window) were completed within 10 weeks—exactly within the timeframe we had hoped for. We were initially hesitant to begin a home remodel (especially with a two-year old in the house), but Dror and the crew’s work made this remodeling effortless and worry-free. These remodels were more than just a facelift on a couple old rooms—the work done by Brother & Brother created room transformations that we could have never thought to imagine.
