"American Home Renewal recently replaced 7 double hung windows in our home. We had 3 window replacement companies come to our home discuss the process and give us estimates. Chris from American Home Renewal was by far the most professional. He spent time with us, accurately described the entire installation process with us and exhibited willingness and patience to hear and understand what we were looking for in the new windows. The American Home Renewal contract was clear, concise and straight forward. The 3 day installation process was fluid and fairly quiet and we were able to work from home. It had a minimal impact on our lives. The crew cleaned up thoroughly every day and took time to make sure we knew how to tilt the windows for eventual cleaning etc. Keith, the Production Manager, checked in a few times during the 3 day installation period to ensure everything was progressing to our satisfaction. "I don't know how Ryan Lovejoy or his firm would have done if they had finished the job. After we hired him we never heard from him again! Ryan interviewed with us, shook hands on a deal with us, told us he'd be by the next week to start and we never heard from him again! We told all our other bids for our job we didn't need them. We sent him all our plans and permits and he was very agreeable and sent us emails for two months about the project. He met our family and gave us time lines for the project and a sewage company he wanted started digging. Then he never came by again, never emailed us back, never returned our calls. We thought he must've been physically hurt or something but no he just acts unprofessional. We are in an awful mess now. I advise anyone who speaks with him to be very careful. He is a liar."

The spring and summer are the busiest times of year for stucco siding professionals, so you could save money by doing the work in the off-season: the late fall.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.

Yes, you can apply the stucco yourself, but it is a time- and labor-intensive project, especially on the exterior of a whole house.
