"Fireplace is great. However, it took 6 weeks and three subsequent visits to fix the first improper installation. On first three visits, the technicians failed to properly install fireplace, making separate errors each time. Each visit was at least two weeks later. Also, we were never advised the fan was not controlled by the remote, so the only way to change its level is to take the bottom front plate out and manually adjust the fan each time we wish to change it, hoping we do not scratch the surfaces. The manager's reaction to my disappointment about this feature was basically indifference."

He offered an alternative that we were not originally considering, which helped in the final choice of a contractor. The rough estimate for the cost of dry rot repair seemed unrealistically low, which did not make me feel very comfortable. I am not a contractor, but I had a rough idea that replacing all fascia boards and other dry rot repair was going to cost more than $1,000 if it was going to be done right. I had about 7 quotes for this project. Their TPO quote was the 2nd highest of the 7 and the most expensive (by almost 80%) than the contractor we went with on the silicone roof coating installation(exact same silicone product)."

He made sure to shore up my living room so that there was no additional damage. It started raining and I developed a leak in the roof and Jim went and got some caulking and went up and stopped the leak. My living room now looks as if nothing happened here. Jim also stayed up late into the night preparing drawings that the county required. He provided EXCELLENT craftsmanship. If you need an excellent contractor use Jim Christian!"
