"Dave did an excellent job repairing the brick facade on our old 1930s home. He was professional, responsive, flexible with our timing, and the results were better than I expected. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of masonry work!"

"Fireplace is great. However, it took 6 weeks and three subsequent visits to fix the first improper installation. On first three visits, the technicians failed to properly install fireplace, making separate errors each time. Each visit was at least two weeks later. Also, we were never advised the fan was not controlled by the remote, so the only way to change its level is to take the bottom front plate out and manually adjust the fan each time we wish to change it, hoping we do not scratch the surfaces. The manager's reaction to my disappointment about this feature was basically indifference."

"Jason Elder was 'Jason on the spot". The speed of response and total professionalism I have not experienced for a long time. This is my first time using web search for repair, but will certainly use it again. If it comes to the needs for Jason I will certainly contact him again too."

"Received a quote for a silicone roof coating installation, TPO roof installation, and dry rot repair. Micah was very polite and punctual in the presentation of his quote. He offered an alternative that we were not originally considering, which helped in the final choice of a contractor. The rough estimate for the cost of dry rot repair seemed unrealistically low, which did not make me feel very comfortable. I am not a contractor, but I had a rough idea that replacing all fascia boards and other dry rot repair was going to cost more than $1,000 if it was going to be done right. I had about 7 quotes for this project. Their TPO quote was the 2nd highest of the 7 and the most expensive (by almost 80%) than the contractor we went with on the silicone roof coating installation(exact same silicone product)."

"Jim put off other work that he already had scheduled in order to fix my structural issue at my house. The ceiling was dropping down in my living room and could have been a catastrophe. He made sure to shore up my living room so that there was no additional damage. It started raining and I developed a leak in the roof and Jim went and got some caulking and went up and stopped the leak. My living room now looks as if nothing happened here. Jim also stayed up late into the night preparing drawings that the county required. He provided EXCELLENT craftsmanship. If you need an excellent contractor use Jim Christian!"

"Greg was a pleasure to work with. Our back splash went all the way up to the ceiling and around bay windows. It was a big job. He also helped me come up with a solution to frame my kitchen windows since the sill had already been cut from the slab and installed by a previous contractor. My cousin who is a retired contractor came over and said Greg’s work was impeccable. Highly recommend!"

"Great! Very professional from start to finish. They cleaned, and on inspection found problems with my old chimney and will be coming back for repairs. Took photos for documentation. Cleaned up well."

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Like stains, the best way to prevent cracks is by treating them as quickly as possible. You can apply a protection cream or conditioner, which will fill in and plump any gaps or wrinkles that may start to form.

It is often worthwhile to refinish or restore furniture, especially for high-quality, older, antique, or sentimental pieces. Older furniture tends to have better durability than modern, mass-produced items, and refinishing can cost about one-third of the price of replacement. To determine if it's cost-effective, compare quotes from local refinishing services with the price of a new, similar piece. Refinishing can refresh a piece's look and extend its lifespan. However, it may not be worth it for newer furniture made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or plywood, or for items with major structural damage. A professional can help you assess the piece and decide on the best course of action.

Replacing exact duplicates of existing drawer slides is usually a simple task that requires replacing the old one with new pieces in the same location and configuration. Replacing old slides with new models is also relatively easy with patience. However, changing entire cabinet layouts can get tricky and requires some know-how to complete the task.

Yes, professionals can color-match new or repaired stucco to existing finishes to ensure a seamless and uniform appearance. While most providers offer this service, it is recommended to confirm with them beforehand.

Regularly check and tighten screws, avoid excessive weight, and clean surfaces with appropriate materials to prevent damage.
