Customers say: Quality work

"Marty communicated about the job start to finish, he checked the work and made sure he let me know if anything changes. The drywall is what I was looking for simple hand troweled finish to match the era of my apartments. Would recommend."

"Juan Ernesto and his team were class acts. They did an excellent job replacing the drywall, texturing the walls, and painting in my daughter's nursery, our guest bedroom, and our entire garage. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's nursery was a priority and went to great lengths to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted. We are so pleased with the finished product -- they do great work. Furthermore, their communication was professional and straight forward, and their prices were fair and had no hidden fees. My husband and I will recommend them to family and friends and we would be happy to do business with them again."

"They were amazing from start to finish. They kept me up to date. Showed up when they said. Got the work not only quickly, but went above and beyond what was expected. They were hired to do ceiling. But, he noticed cracks in my wall and repaired those as well. And did not charge extra. I will definitely use them in the future. And will be referring them as well."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Mudding drywall is a DIY-friendly project, but patience and practice are required for perfection. If you’re working in a highly visible area and want the best possible finish, hiring a professional drywaller is worth the cost. Pros have the tools and know-how to ensure a smooth surface with fewer sanding sessions and less cleanup.

Eco-friendly options reduce environmental impact and often improve indoor air quality.

Wet-sanding and dry-sanding each have pros and cons. Dry-sanding is less messy, so it’s a good option if you’re trying to minimize dust (for example, if you’re sanding an occupied home or working with particularly dry or dusty drywall mud). However, dry-sanding is quicker because you don’t have to keep rinsing a sponge or wait for it to dry before painting.

If you only have tiny holes in your drywall (for example, dents or nail marks), you probably won’t need a patch kit. Instead, you can plug the hole with a small amount of spackle. Once the spackle dries, you can sand the area and paint over it—just like you would in the steps outlined above.

The best way to make long, straight cuts is to use a utility knife and a T-square to score the sheet, snap along the score, and then finish the cut by cutting through the paper on the opposite side with the utility knife. If you’re making small cuts, curved cuts, or cutouts for electrical boxes or light fixtures, you can use a manual jab saw to keep costs down, but an electric spiral saw or oscillating multi-tool will get the cleanest, fastest cuts possible.
