Aaron Don Cumpton, was captured on home surveillance video on 10/26/21, strangling and then disposing into the trash, our beloved, Artie, a 16 year old senior dog. This company, pure water pools, was uncooperative with the police investigation and never once reached out to offer any condolences/explanation, or apology. This story has made national news. Just google the guys’ name who killed our dog."

"Firstly they never told me to cap off sprinkler lines, they poured concrete deck over the lines. When sprinklers were turned on the water accumulated under the deck. Scott did cap off a couple of the lines. After that the auto fill line busted and sent water spraying all over the patio furniture, deck, and window. I texted about this issue and they never contacted me . Warning to other customers who may have them building a pool , hold off on your last payment, because this Family Business will not come back and they do not stand by their work should an issue occur!"

The safest pool fence depends on what you’re trying to protect against. Building an inground pool is a job best left to the pros. Excavating the area and building the pool requires heavy equipment and specialized training, and pools have complex plumbing and electrical systems. Unless you’re experienced in these areas, you’re better off hiring a pool contractor to make sure the job gets done safely and correctly. 

If a pool enclosure will cut down on your to-do list and encourage you to throw more pool parties, then it is often worth the cost. They can cut down on monthly pool maintenance, extend your swimming season, and even make the poolscape safer. Some more permanent pool enclosures can even work in tandem with your heater to keep your pool warm. 

The life span of a screen on a pool cage depends on the material used:

  • Fiberglass screens last from 10 to 15 years.

  • Aluminum screens last 15 to 20 years.

  • Polyester screens last 20 to 30 years.

  • Stainless steel screens last 30 years or more.

A retaining wall can only function as a fence if it’s high enough on all sides to prevent someone from accidentally falling into the pool. However, most retaining walls retain dirt, which means their purpose is not related to safety. There would need to be nothing on the other side of the wall for it to be considered a fence, but in that case, it wouldn’t retain anything and would cease to be a retaining wall.
