"Our large deck was sorely neglected - no maintenance in at least 8 years - and I worried it was beyond help or would be cost-prohibitive to rehabilitate. Rupert and Michael breathed new life into it! Rupert (company principle) is very responsive, and he was able to give a quick informal estimate based on some photos and I texted. This made it very easy to start working together right away. Now the deck looks beautiful, and they were able to stain our wooden deck furniture to match. Great makeover for our deck and lovely folks to work with!"

"Very easy to work with. I'd used them before but this time I got estimates from other contractors and was amazed how much more reasonable Cal Preserving was. The difference may be that the others pointed to additional steps that could be taken. Did Cal Preserving "miss" these things or recognize they weren't necessary--I'm inclined to believe the latter."

"Fantastic job! I can't believe how bright and clean the deck and the surrounding areas look. It's clear that Blue Wave takes pride in their work and goes the extra step to please the customer. The windows have never looked better. Some are quite hard to reach and have not been cleaned in ages. They look brand new. "DJS' crew worked fast and did a very comprehensive job. They arrived on time, were great about cleaning up after themselves and were pretty good communicating the state of the project. They were interrupted by several days of rain, but came right back and finished up when the weather cleared, putting in extra hours on a Saturday to finish the job in a timely manner. The house looks very sharp and clean, and the extra priming will help keep the older home protected from the weather. It took a great big chunk of our budget for repairs, but they definitely took care of everything, from color consultation at the beginning to clean up at the end. The speed and convenience of having professionals who clearly knew what they were doing was worth the price.
