"Iâ ve hired multiple cleaners for our home but none that cleaned our home as detailed as Erendy. She always leaves everything completely clean, and even cleans in places we would never expect. Highly recommend"

Small jobs welcome

"Our home was in dire need of cleaning and guests were coming in three days. The crew arrived, worked quickly, and in a few hours the house was cleaned and ready for company. The shower no longer had black spots on the tile grout. The soap residue on the shower tiles was gone. The house was vacuumed, window sills and shades were dusted. The kitchen floor, counters, stove, and sink were clean. This was a happy crew that had obviously teamed together many times. They worked hard. They were polite and easy to work with. I felt that I could trust them (important, since they had free access to my home and belongings). I didn't feel a need to supervise them. I gave them a daunting task and they successfully tackled it. Most importantly, would I hire them again? Yes!"

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Egress windows require regular maintenance to ensure they function correctly. This includes cleaning the glass, inspecting the frame and well for debris, and making sure the cover or well drains properly. It is also important to check that the window sills and wells are watertight and to inspect and repair any damage to the window frame or seals to prevent leaks and maintain functionality.

There are a few qualifying questions you can ask a professional window cleaner to help you decide if it’s the right company for you:

  • Does your price include the inside and outside of the windows?

  • Will you clean the tracks, rails, and other internal components?

  • Are you fully insured?

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • What kind of cleaning products do you use?

  • Do you have any customer references?

  • Do you provide any other services, like exterior power washing?

Solar screens are low-maintenance but benefit from occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washing, as these can damage the mesh. Inspect screens annually for tears or loose frames to maintain performance. In dusty or coastal areas, more frequent cleaning may be necessary to prevent buildup.

One of the best professional cleaning solutions that won’t leave streaks is one gallon of distilled or bottled water mixed with 2 to 4 teaspoons of dish soap. Apply using a sponge in a figure-eight motion, and then use a squeegee to remove the majority of the water and soap. You can finish drying with a piece of old black-and-white newspaper to remove any residue for a streak-free clean every time.

Window cleaning costs around $220, on average, but you could pay anywhere from $150 to $300 or more, depending on the number of windows, how accessible they are, and the type of windows. Some professional window cleaners charge on a per-window basis at around $10 per window, while others provide a single price for your entire home. Either way, more windows will mean higher cleaning costs. Picture windows tend to be the most affordable because they don’t require cleaning of internal components, while double-hung windows and skylights increase your price because they’re more complicated to clean and less accessible.
