"I am not sure how the rating for this company is so high, as my experience with them is one of the worst I've had in a while. I needed a few water-damaged planks on my deck replaced and then painted. Though this project was smaller in scope, getting the Danny Deck team to finish the job correctly was anything but simple. The issues are too extensive to describe in detail, so I've included them in bullet points below: 1) The pricing was on the higher side of the quotes I gathered, but I liked the staff, so I went with them. 2) Most contractors, including the rep from this company, said the project was a 3-5 day job. Instead, they rushed and squeezed the entire project into just 2 days! 3) After realizing how quickly the team completed the job, I double-checked with them to ensure they finished several details we had gone over at the beginning of the project. They said yes. Upon checking myself, they did not. 4) Not only was the job unfinished, but I ended up with the NEW problem of an exceptionally squeaky deck that wasn't there before they worked on it. 5) The painters painted sloppily along the concrete walls the deck was adjacent to and bits on the door frame entering the house. 6) The painters also took the paint home with them, so I had to chase them down for weeks to fix the paint job myself. 7) Every time I set a time to meet them at the house to fix the issues they left behind, they were either late or just didn't show up at all. It's almost comical how unprofessional of an experience this was. Instead of taking 3-5 days, it took 5 weeks from start to finish to wrap this project up. And with a $4,500 price tag, I cannot believe how much chasing around I had to do to have them finish the job and undo mistakes that weren't even there before they touched the deck in the first place. The only reason there's a second star on this review is because they were generally pleasant to deal with. But the amount of time exhausted trying to get them to finish the job was too staggering for kindness to be enough. I could not on my conscience recommend this company."

"My husband and I had a ton of work done by Conber Construction and we couldnâ t have asked for a better experience. The scope of the project includes roof, windows, electrical work, exterior wall, tankless water heater, building a new gate, among other things. The project took a few months and it went smoothly the whole way through. Quality of work - Weâ re picky people. Between my husband and I, we checked everything with a fine tooth comb. And at the end of it, even WE were delighted with what we saw. Cesar does everything he can to make sure you're getting what you want. And he delivers. This was apparent from the very beginning. Heâ s got the experience and know-how to achieve what the customer wants, and he really cares that youâ re satisfied with the work. Price - Their quote was very reasonable & fair, and they stayed on budget. We definitely feel we got our money's worth. Strong communication - Customer service is very important to me. Iâ m happy to say, these folks are very responsive. I could reach out at any time with questions or comments and felt very supported throughout the whole process. Even at the very end (when some contractors can peter out), Conber was with us the whole way through. You just donâ t see this kind of customer service anymore. Ideas - When we were stuck and looking for ideas, Cesar and Fabiola were always so helpful. Between Cesar sharing what he has done on other projects, and Fabiola searching for ideas & possibilities online, we got great guidance from them. Construction crew - All their workers were very nice and & respectable. I felt very safe with this team in and out of our house (even during covid!). Very clean, neat & tidy. This is important to keep neighbors happy. Flexibility - We added projects along the way and they were very accommodating. Overall - Our entire experience went so well! The house has been transformed and weâ re constantly getting compliments from the neighbors and friends as they come over! We plan on doing more work on the inside of the house next year and we will, for certain, be reaching out to Conber Construction. Highly, highly recommended."

"THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We signed a contract with Yakov to design an ADU. He raved that his engineer was on his staff as an employee and that she previously worked for LA planning so she understood how to more efficiently complete plans to be done sooner. The mistakes and time in between for her to submit corrections were so long there was no reason for it. When we were given so many excuses I contacted the city myself to get a true timeline and found that the corrections were issued by city and they were very basic items that any engineer should not have even had an issue with and weeks and over 2 months would go by that she did not respond to the corrections. When we reached out to Yakov to get resolution he brushed us off and said we had to handle it with the engineer. He did not always respond to calls. I had to excessively call them both to get the work done. It was nearly two years of stress for the plans to finally be complete and approved with the city. Suffice to say we di"

"I'm so happy that I found David at CA Cabinets! He was here checking on the work daily to make sure everything ran smoothly which is rare for a contractor as usually they just come a few times during the process. Everything is beautiful and he went to extra mile to shop with me for the flooring tiles, quartz countertops, cabinets and sink. I'm super picky as an artist / former fashion designer and he was able to help me create exactly what I had designed. He had great ideas such as adding a waterfall edge to the quartz countertop and a window sill piece from quartz as well. This project was a complete gut and rebuild due to a dishwasher leak - homeowner's insurance claim. I was having issues with my insurance and David went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance issues so we could complete the project. He is always very prompt and organized. Some of the other contractors that I had previously contacted could not even be bothered to give me a call back or show up on time to a scheduled appointment but David was able to meet with me right away and always notified me of the work schedules. Pricing was reasonable and in line with other estimates I received."
