I'm very happy with the work that I had done as well as the very fair price. David made sure to explain what was happening as he completed the project, and worked with me on the best way to address some issues that were uncovered as the old roof was removed. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and finished right on schedule.

I had called 8 other companies and they wanted to do unnecessary work at extremely high prices. We were referred b another company on Angie’s List, who explained we really needed a waterproof coating. I then Spoke to the owner of Fiber Coat Deck Company, and he immediately knew what we needed to stop the leak and prevent it from recurring with a special fiberglass coating used by his company. He even gave a warranty when other companies weren’t even sure that their high priced work wood fix the problem. They were amazing and even sealed around areas the HOW had moved that contributed to the leakage. They put on very professional drain covers and corrected the tilt so the water would actually drain like they should. There has been no leak since. They only took 2 days and the work is excellent quality and looks amazing. The cost was between 1/2 and 1/4th of what other companies put in their bids and they could not guarantee their work. They were honest, professional, competent, on time and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the services of Fiber-Coat Deck Company.

Very well done project. David was articulate in explaining what he thought he needed to do. He (they?) removed the tile/grouting from the surface and all the thin-set underneath. I had a lot of rotten plywood that needed to be replaced. He removed all plywood, let the wood joists dry out (1 day) and installed new 5/8" plywood. He applied several coatings to that surface. There was a metal lath, a layer of deckcrete, then acrylic patching over any imperfections. Then a fiberglass mat saturated with laminating resins. Then a knock-down texture coating and lastly a resin sealer finish coat. We chose the color, and it was done in 3 or 4 days. The only problem I encountered was that he didn't have a stucco guy available to patch the several inches of stucco that had to be removed to replace the flashing. In all honestly, he told me that the flashing was probably good and didn't need to be replaced. So that is another job I am now finding a vendor to do. It would've been nice to have the entire job completed by David. He was even willing to work over the Memorial Day weekend to catch up on a day he lost due to rain. That was very diligent of him. (He didn't need to, after all.) If he had had a stucco guy, I'd have rated him 100%. Good work, fast work, nice guy, left the place clean. I would consider him again. Thank you, David.

David and his assistant fixed 3 holes in a second story deck then applied a metal lath and troweled on a layer of deckcretethe first day. 2nd day applied a fiberglass mat and saturated with laminating resins. David then shot a layer of knockdown texture to the deck and finally applied a resin sealer finish coat over the deck. The deck need 24 hours drying and 3 day wait before placing items on the deck. The whole project went nicely and the new deck looks great and should need a sealing in 5 years.

He answered all my questions and worked with me through the entire process (even when I had changes.) Dave was punctual and was very hardworking, making sure my new decking system was installed correctly. He took the time to install each layer of the decking system and made the finished surface graded so the water drained off perfectly. I would hire him again if I ever need to redo my deck.

It was a pleasure working with Chris and Kari. Chris did an excellent job on waterproofing my deck (previously was covered with an artificial turf). He removed this and over one week laid down multiple layers of the waterproofing materials. He did such a good job, we invited him back months later to put epoxy coating on our garage floor. Both times, he was extremely professional, on time, and clean. The deck and garage look awesome. During the rainy season, we did not have any problems with the deck and it is draining appropriately. Price was very fair ($4300 for the deck, lowest offer we got. $2150 for a three car garage epoxy floor, also very competitive). Would not hesitate to use their services again.

Fiber Coat provided an excellent and professional experience. We developed a number of homes, and felt that a high quality garage floor coat would be a great upgrade. The Fiber Coat team were not only efficient and worked flexibly around our schedule, but the floors have received quite a number of compliments from prospective buyers. From the first estimate through the finished product the entire process went great. Good quality work for a fair price! We have a new wood framed deck off our second floor master bedroom and needed a waterproof walk able finish coating and this came out better than we hoped for.
