"I had some hazardous waste materials and other items that I needed picked up. Armondo was great. He is very conscientious and takes pride in his work. He kept in touch until he arrived. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely work with him again."

"What a fantastic service! We had a lot of large items and furniture that couldn’t fit in our new place and we also couldn’t offload to other people so we looked for a service where we knew the items wouldn’t go into the landfill. Junkluggers fit the bill perfectly! They were professional and efficient! Even the owner, OJ, jumped in to make sure they were done within the scheduled time frame. We couldn’t be more pleased. Definitely recommend them to our friends and network."

"I hired Handy Haulerz to remove a FULL garage of junk that I just could not tackle myself. Henry was very professional and not judgmental at all towards my pile. They left the area clean and I’m so happy to say that I’m able to use my garage for what it was intended to be used for. Thank you Handy Haulerz!"

Small jobs welcome

I own and operate a dumpster rental service that currently provides 17 Yard Dumpsters, and will soon provide 40 Yard Dumpsters and 10 Yard Dumpsters (lowboys) by the end of 2025. I also offer junk removal for property clean outs if you'd like us to handle the labor. Tree removal is another included service we offer.\n\nThis business was created in order to help a non-profit organization (Water Drop LA). A portion of all proceeds go towards helping the organization continue its operation.

"The gentleman was a wonderful professional. I shopped around and I didnâ t find anybody who charged as little as has him very reasonable pricing, low pricing, in fact, The day after I rented the dumpster, which was here on time, and I didnâ t even have to go l outside. The day after I rented the dumpster, which is huge I was way bigger than I expected, it rained in poured so I called him to see how much of another day because he gave it to me for two days for free because of the weather really thoughtful. Very nice guy youâ re done but the next day it started pouring raining and he let us keep the dumpster for two extra days because of the weather with no cost charge really thoughtful,so nice and courteous he didnâ t even charge us. and he was just a joy I couldnâ t be happier with the service I could not have been happier. Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

On average, it takes one to four hours for a professional to install a garbage disposal. This includes removing the old unit, taking necessary measurements for positioning, removing and fitting new pipes, and installing the brand-new disposal system. If there are unforeseen issues, such as accessibility concerns, the process takes longer.

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.
