"Transformed My Backyard. I highly Recommend! I had a dilapidated, old shed that was an absolute eyesore and a major safety hazard in my backyard for years. I dreaded the thought of hauling away the rotten wood and junk myself so I decided to hire someone. After some research, I decided to hire always be junkin for the job. From the initial phone call, they were responsive and professional. Scheduling was a breeze, and they worked around my busy timeline. On the day of the removal, their team arrived on time and were incredibly efficient. Not to mention their attention to detail, making sure they removed every bit of it and left it clean looking afterwards. Will definitely hire in the future if I need any other junk removals!"

"If you're looking for a junk removal service that is efficient, reliable, and affordable in 90004, look no further than JunkLuggers! I recently had the pleasure of using their services and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Their team was incredibly professional and courteous. They arrived on time and were equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They were also very respectful of my property, taking care not to damage anything while removing my junk. What sets them apart from other companies was their commitment to sustainability. They made sure to recycle and donate as much of my junk as possible, rather than simply disposing of it in a landfill. As someone who cares about the environment, this was a huge plus for me. I highly recommend JunkLuggers. Their team is professional, efficient, and committed to sustainability, making them the perfect choice for anyone looking for a top-notch junk removal service."

Small jobs welcome

I own and operate a dumpster rental service that currently provides 17 Yard Dumpsters, and will soon provide 40 Yard Dumpsters and 10 Yard Dumpsters (lowboys) by the end of 2025. I also offer junk removal for property clean outs if you'd like us to handle the labor. Tree removal is another included service we offer.\n\nThis business was created in order to help a non-profit organization (Water Drop LA). Customers say: True professional

"We decided to remodel our outdated bathroom, and McCormick Home Builders was a fantastic choice. Khaled and the team delivered high-quality work within the timeline and our budget. Every detail, from the tile work to the lighting, was beautifully done. They communicated well throughout, keeping us informed at every step, and the end result was truly a spa-like bathroom we can enjoy daily. We’d love to work with them again!"

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

You may be able to install a garbage disposal on your own, especially if you're handy or have some experience with plumbing. However, if you have any concerns or want to make absolutely sure that the connections are installed correctly, you may be better off hiring a local garbage disposal installer to do the job.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.
