Juan and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. He was prompt, professional, and an excellent communicator. His work and commitment to getting it right came through every day, and he has a very collaborative style. His advice gave us confidence in the decisions we were making about materials and installation. Because our home is 100 years old and has many quirks, we had a few surprises along the way. Juan didn't hesitate to offer up solutions. (He put in 6 shims to level our window sill! Something we didn't even know we needed). Reasonable pricing. We quoted about eight reputable contractors, and Geico B. cost estimation is one the more competitive ones. 2. Great PM and communication: Our PM Carlos and Jean is such a joyful, communicative, and accommodating professional. They made the whole process much easier. 3. Great foremen and workers: they showed up daily, worked hard, and generally kept the area as tidy as possible. Our foreman Delmar is very experienced and also a great person to work with. The work quality seems great too (tile work is amazing up to a small details). 4. "Roger and team were GREAT!!! Roger went out of his way several times to make sure the project ran on time, was the best it could be and even added in some things I hadn't thought of on his own (no cost). We redid the floors, lighting, paint, fixtures and vanity (which required plumbing work) in our hall bathroom and it took a little less than two weeks. He even helped us save the height measurements we had marked on one wall for our 3 kids by finding the perfect size board to transfer it to before we had to paint over it. There was a snafu with our tile delivery (tile company's fault) and Roger drove all the way to San Leandro to get it for us so we wouldn't stall on the work. He stayed in constant contact and was incredibly responsive. I would absolutely hire him again. Anyone would be lucky to get his time and team for a project."

"Due to an old shower valve and failing galvanized pipe behind existing shower tile, we had an ongoing leak issue. We were very pleased when Redo House assessed the situation and told us that the leak could be fixed and the tile could removed and reinstalled after another provider had told us the tile was not salvageable. We were impressed that their team went into the crawl space under the house and confirmed there was not water damage and provided photo evidence-all as part of the initial free estimate process. On the scheduled day, the team replaced the faulty valve, pipe (with copper), and re-installed the existing tile. You can virtually not tell that the tile was removed--very clean work. They also cleaned up some of the other tile that had mold growth and re-caulked areas where the glass wall was leaking and not sealed correctly with the floor pan. Our "like new" shower now works beautifully!"

"I reached out to Adam (owner of AK Tile) in the Fall of 2024. He responded and we met to discuss the bathroom remodel. He showed great flexibility in allowing me to purchase the tile designs independently and to provide a preform sink and backsplash and sliding shower door for installation. He was timely and present (with a helper) for the entire job and completed the demolition, dry rot R&R (not originally bid, but added on as needed at a per hour rate), complete tile installation (standing shower w/cutout and bathroom floor) and sink install needing expertise for modifications. We negotiated the install of the sliding shower doors @ an hourly rate. He was very respectful of our home and did an outstanding job cleaning up. We are most impressed by his professional integrity. After a few months we noticed cracks in the glazing on some of the tiles. He researched options to address this concern and ended up spending 1.5 days, NO CHARGE :), replacing multiple tiles. Adam is a true Pro!!"
