It also blocks UV/UB rays up to 73% and helps keep the house a more consistent, cooler temperature. It has a lifetime warranty that is transferable to the next home owner. Since we are in the process of getting ready to sell, we felt this would be a great upgrade and would add value to the home. We started work the very next morning. Tom coordinated and over saw the entire project. He was very pleasant to work with. The crew was friendly and worked efficiently. They prepped and protected everything so the finished job was remarkable. They removed old shingles on the front of the house and re-stuccoed the front. They did come back and touch up a few things until we were satisfied. The price was reasonable considering the value of the product and the house will never have to be painted again. We were very pleased with Cielo from start to finish. I would recommend them and I would use them again if the need arises."

"Foothill Painting was very professional in responding to our original inquiry, we arranged a visit to obtain an estimate, and Joe came out, as scheduled, to size up the job.  Joe was very helpful in answering our questions and providing his opinions/advice as appropriate.  We received a formal estimate shortly thereafter in the mail and via email.  We had Joe come out one more time to ask him a few more questions since, at that point, we had narrowed down the remaining bids and, based on the discussions with various painting contractors, had additional concerns to sort out. The end result of the meeting with Joe was awarding Foothill Painting the job.

We decided on the colors, with some help from Joe, and scheduled the job. The painters (two of them) arrived as scheduled and worked on the project for the next 3-4 days, prepping first, then priming, then painting.  The stucco on our home had never been painted and it is a very rough finish, so much effort was required to insure that all surfaces were fully painted.  Joe would come by every morning to insure that all necessary supplies were on hand, to provide any directions for the day, and to address any questions, concerns, issues that might come up. The painters would pick up after themselves at the end of every day.

The one area for improvement, from our experience, would be a little more attention to prep work, as it relates to holes and rough surfaces (needing filling and sanding before priming), particular on the wood surfaces.  Joe's help in getting the small issues that surfaced resolved in a timely manner was much appreciated. He was a good listener and did his best to make us happy!

The staff in the office was professional, friendly and efficient throughout our entire experience with Foothill Painting. This was true from our original call, through scheduling visits, providing estimates, sending out invoices, and ending the process with a Thank You card for our business.  Well done!!

"The price was slightly high. At first, his responsiveness was an A then he went to an F and he went back to an A. I had to call him again and he hadn't returned calls for a couple of days. He calls me Sir all the time. He's very respectful and very careful about putting towels on the ladder so it wouldn't damage the stucco. He didn't damage any plants and any sprinklers. They were very cautious about my personal property. I would go back. He's better than some other painters. He did the job and they came unresponsive after that. He understood wood, paint, coatings and application. He's very good that way."

"First the good - Danny was very professional, on time and helpful.  The major work was done in the specified time frame.  The workers were generally on time.
The bad - The work itself was very slipshod.  None of the replacement walls were completely straight - no right angles.  There were multiple short cuts such as the oil based paint was not sanded before the latex paint was applied so the paint bubbled and then it was just spot fixed. There was/is a seam between the old and new walls, the shower bracket leaked, the door frame pulled away from the wall because the walls were built on a slant. Screws went through the bathroom wall into the adjacent room and they didn't notice and a large chunk of outside stucco was  broken out and again they didn't notice.  They said that they were finished but the bathroom door that they installed wouldn't close.  The carpeting outside the bathroom was permanently stained. 
When we called about problems they were receptive and sent the foreman back but we had to have him back so many times that we finally decided to fix many of the problems ourselves.

"Their work ethic is a Aplus! They were probably late to start working a couple of times but made up the time and stayed later to advance on the kitchen. They definitely did work early in the mornings and sometimes they wouldn't work, but only because they have inspection to pass. I like the fact that they passed inspections, only once was it a minor little detail that the inspector brought to they attention but he let it be done while he was there and inspection passed. Demo was probably tough on them, the stucco was a bit old and strong. But after that the foundation happened and everything happened so fast(stages) my addition seemed to be a lot bigger than I thought it would be but I am definitely happy with the end work. They did not do finishes because I have family members that helped but as far as construction I was impressed with the quality and the fact that I have warranty made me a happy camper. Thanks to the team and office staff that checked up about twice a week!
