"Magnolia Services company claimed the Water heater ad on Angie's List was incorrect and should have been removed. Magnolia Services suggested I seek refund from Angie's List for the Water heater flush/inspection service"

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Paul arrive on-time at 1PM. We have a hyper-active lab that barks at all new visitors and he introduced himself to her which calmed her down. I pointed out where the leak was, he set my expectations about what had to be done to investigate which I was OK with. Then he carved out a hole in the downstairs ceiling to get at a leaky pipe. After some investigation he was able to find out where it was and quickly repaired it. He was very courteous the entire way through and answered all my questions. I partially signed up on Angie's list today just to write this review for them because I was impressed with their professionalism.

"Sent email through anigies list site, he called right away on a Sunday night - tried to help me fix my thermostat since it was only a year 1/2 old but we could not.  Did tell me he had a job in san diego that week.  since it was nothing major decided to wait since the reviews were good and he seemed honest.  finally was able to pick a good day, called letting me know he was on his way, showed up and first looked at my thermostat but it was broke, replaced with new one right away.  Explained how it worked also checked my filters and let me know where I could buy replacement ones at a good price.  Was quick, very friendly and professional.  Also does electrical work which I need so I will be calling in the future.

"Charlie returned my call right away.  He was very personable and prompt for our appointments.  I first called him to come clean the dryer vent.  He did that very quickly and even walked me through the process as he did it.  After he was finished he asked me how long it had been since my air ducts had been cleaned.   I said, I thought about 3 years ago.  He asked to see the intake vents and I led him around the house to the various vents and HVAC units.  Two of the three vents were black with filth, and it was time for cleaning and maintenance on all of the units.  One of my filters was a custom size that nobody had ever offered to have made for me, but Charlie told me he could call the company right away and have a washable filter in a couple of days.  I actually had a regular service appointment scheduled with Lumas Air the following Monday, but I called and cancelled it.  It even cost me money to cancel, but I really liked Charlie and liked the idea of having one guy that knows me and my house doing these services in the future.  Lumas always sent somebody different.  It was always hit or miss if I was going to feel confident in who showed up.  I scheduled a time for the following day for duct cleaning and HVAC servicing and cleaning.  Charlie and another guy, David showed up on time and proceeded to do their work.  Prices were upfront and fair, and he gave me the Angie's List discount without me having to ask.

*Side Note - My family and I are not as close to the beach as we used to be, and I have felt like allergies have been worse in the past four years in this house.  Charlie suggested installing a hepa filter on one of my HVAC units and testing the difference in air quality.  It's something I have researched, and I'm taking his advice.  I'll write an update after I've tried it out."
