"

Me and my husband wanted to convert our garage into a caveman room.
My husband had his dream for a while now having the garage be like a complete bar so his friends can come over and hang around at our house.
We called several companies and tried to get an idea if this project can be done, how long will it takes and if they did something like this in the past. When we called best builders group, we spoke to zohar who apparently was one of the site managers. he came over to our house look at the existing garage and came up with some great and simple ideas about how to do, what will be the best things to do and where we should shop around for some unique furniture, fixtures and the refrigerator lol.
We got the feeling that Zohar, did some projects like this in the past and we decided to go with it.
The plans took a little bit longer than we expected, but as soon as this task was done, we got a little bit stuck on the permits.
Then everything went smoothly and good.
The project took close to a 2 weeks (give and take) and we are happy with the results.

"We hired Fireplace Freddie to inspect and fix our 100-year-old fireplace & chimney, making it safe to burn real wood again. Nick and Scott came out quickly, and used cameras to inspect. During the inspection Nick visually showed me what the issues were. He also verbally suggested the fix. After the inspection, we received pics and a price quote to fix the issues by installing a stainless steel sleeve in the chimney. We sent the pics and info to 3 other businesses to compare prices. After speaking with Nick numerous times, including 2 conversations with my old school contractor buddy who asked Nick just about every ridiculous question he could possibly think of, Nick remained cool and answered all of his questions. Nick also agreed to do the job with a permit from LADBS which they included in the price, so we decided Fireplace Freddie was the right company to do the job. Patrick was our installer. He had a co-worker, but I didn't catch his name. They showed up on time, covered the floor and furniture and did their job. It took a few days as they said it would, but they were on time, clean and friendly. Each day they came, they covered everything. Each night, they cleaned up and uncovered everything before they left. Patrick also dealt with our LADBS inspector who admittedly was not well versed in chimney repair. Patrick was very friendly, gave the inspector the information he needed including printed specs from the manufacturer, and we passed inspection w/o issue. Scott came back 1 week later to test the fireplace. He lit a fire to make sure it was all good, and it is. To sum it all up, everyone was friendly and professional. The job went super smooth, and we are able to use our wood burning fireplace again, safely.  I would highly recommend Fireplace Freddie. A+"

"He arrived early for appointment which was great. Apparently, my chimney hadn't been cleaned in a long time, it was pretty bad (I just moved into new house about a month ago). He had to dump out his shop vac 3x. He didn't up-charge for his services though. He still charged me the holiday special and completed the job quickly, professionally, and efficiently. I have no complaints and would recommend him to anyone looking for a chimney sweep guy (pun intended).

"Sam and Mike remodeled our Laundry room at our house. The room was redesigned from a regular space that we have close to our garage, into a functional laundry room. The work included removing all the existing dry wall, add new plumbing for the machines, and a faucet, iron space, Paint and the washer and dryer (gas). Sam also guided us in purchasing cabinets and hardware for it. We enjoyed working with Sam who was very professional and knowledgeable person. We hired him after looking at several samples of work that he did for his previous clients.

"They said they would email me if I needed any work done and they didn't. I just assumed nothing was needed.  They came out early this summer just to do like an annual check to see if I needed anything. I wasn't home, my house keeper was home. I said, 'Any communication, just leave it with her'. She said, 'Yeah, he's going to email you the results' and I never got an email."

"Danny and his team came in and demo'd the existing bathroom and kitchen area within the first couple of days. They were fast and very careful not to damage any of the interior living area that was not included in the scope of work. They cleaned up the work area(s) and hauled all the trash away in the same day. They also relocated the gas line for the stove, and the gas/water lines for the washer/dryer hook ups. Currently we are waiting for the city inspector to come by and approve all of the plumbing and electrical work they've done before building out our bathroom and kitchen area. At this time, we did not provide a score for Quality because the remodeling work has not been completed. We will provide a score and a final review at the end of construction, with pictures.

"Project went very well. I was in need of some general labor help when I hired Kevin to help. I was amazed how much he already knew about home repair and general handyman services. He helped to rewire much of the bathroom project and needed zero intervention from myself. What a pleasant experience to have someone that actually knew what he was doing. I highly recommend Kevin for any scope of work. He is very knowledgeable, responsible, and dependable"

"I was thrilled with the solar tube and was happy about the work that was done. They also did a roof maintenance as well. They put a spray on my roof that was some-what of a hard sell. Looking back I'm not sure if that was such a good deal. It took a moment to get a receipt for the roofing services, but did end up getting it. Overall, those 2 things were my only negatives for me. For both services they were prompt., professional, and did great service."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Examples include gas stoves, ovens, and water heaters. Confirm with your provider for specific items.
