"Jose was very nice and knowledgeable. He showed us the problem with our fireplace, repaired it, cleaned out the fireplace, showed us how to restart the pilot light, adjusted the pilot light flame, and did not try to upsell us on anything. We highly recommend him!"

"Gary was very responsive, prompt and professional from the first call until the job was complete. He came to my house and assessed the job, taking all measurements and gaining a complete understanding of what I wanted. He then helped me select just the right gas log set for my fireplace. Outside, I have a firepit that had an old corroded gas line. He suggested a solution for that, too. On installation day Gary showed up on time and had everything he needed. He put down runners and mats everywhere. I couldn't believe how diligent he was about taking care of every detail. I would, without hesitation, recommend Gary at Fireplace Technicians. It's nice to deal with a true pro who really cares about what he does, and Gary is just that.

"Plumbing agent showed up on day requested & completed the job. Plumber Elmer wouldn't leave until he checked for any leaks, gas or water, which there weren't any but I was put at ease for the no leak assurance. Would definitely use again."

"There was no problem during or after my bathroom remodeling was finished.
Reuven and his team worked at my house and they did a great job. Zohar (The Owner) was the person that we communicated with all the payments and his assistance made sure to inform us about anything including shipping?s and deliveries. We do recommend this company due to the great communication and work quality that was done by them.

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.
