Gary Bracher came out in the summer and measured the fireplace and gave me an estimate of the work to be done and the cost. I called Gary a couple of weeks ago and informed him that I would like to proceed with the work we had discussed. He gave me a date he could start the work and we agreed regarding the start date and price quoted.
Gary is a professional and very meticulous regarding his work. He made sure that protective sheeting was placed on the floor from the entryway to the fireplace. He did the cutting of the brick in the driveway and all went as planned except the original gas pipe had to be replaced and the bottom brick had to be brought in from LA. He took care of everything in a timely manner and completed the job ahead of schedule. Gary cleaned all the glass door surfaces that were stained from years of wood fires. The fireplace looks great and definitely heats the room!
"Our gas bill was getting higher and higher, and after asking locals 'to check the water heater' for us, we decided to go professional. These guys came and inspected the whole system underneath the house. They came out with videos of leaks that were actively going on. We never touched the gas lines since we moved in over 25 years ago so it was time for a new system. The old one was really messed up and confusing so they did one single line with extensions to places that needed it (obviously) We also had to do some digging and they were very careful on preserving the yard, that i really appreciate. Jose and his crew are like family, they're very nice, detailed, communicative and helpful. They work really hard for a great price! The crew stayed with us until the gas company came to give us the OK to turn the gas line back on. These guys are 24 hours and know their stuff 4 weeks later we come back from vacation to a leaking toilet. We immediately called Jose and he came to check it out that same day. Thankfully that's the only leak we have now so its a small job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
"I booked the appointment two weeks out, and without having to confirm the appointment, Rich showed up early, was very friendly, and got right to work. He installed the gas log set in our fireplace very quickly, and even painted some of the exposed brass fittings black so they wouldn't stand out or distract from the logs. He was very helpful with questions we had, and offered some free solutions to update the look of our fireplace doors (why the builder chose to install fireplace doors with tacky gold trim I will never know). He told us to have the lines inspected every 5 years or so, just to make sure there were no leaks. He is now my go-to guy for all things chimney-related. "
