"I had a crack in my living room wall from floor to ceiling. They were able to fix it and when done you could not even tell where they had repaired the wall. They were able to match the texturing and painted the entire wall. I highly recommend Ryan, very professional and polite. If you need drywall work done, this is who you want to call."

"I had some 30 years of sprinklers hitting a stucco wall in the front of my house. It was peeling and I was concerned it would continue to penetrate the wall and cause mold. Home Advisor suggested LG Plastering. I called and was please that the owner, Phil Gould, called back the same day to schedule an appointment. He gave me an estimate and we agreed to have the work done. The result was excellent as he had two experienced plaster workers come and repair the problem. They also took care of 3 other small sites around the exterior of the house. It took less than one half of a day. All was cleaned up and there was no trace of them being here. Truly an outstanding experience and I recommend Phil and LG Plastering for any stucco problems one could have. Fair pricing too!"

"My husband and I have been looking for someone to help us with the remodeling around the house. We are getting old and we were afraid that someone might take advantage of us. Luckily we found Quality Remodeling and we felt so much relief. Sean came out to see us on September 19th 2012. He brought all of his license information and wouldn't even come into our house until we felt comfortable with the idea. We showed him the problem and he took measurements. What my husband and I liked the most was that he never pressured us. He told us to take time and think about it. He gave us a great price and was even willing to help us out with financing, but luckily we didn't need it.  I would recommend this company to all of my friends. In fact Sean has done work for my daughter as well.
Quality is really a wonderful company and they were  a pleasure to deal with.

"Fredy was great! He did a wonderful job on our drywall repair, could never tell we had holes in the wall after he was done. We turned around and hired him again a week later to do more drywall and some electrical to include 5 can lights with the wiring, those too turned out wonderful."

Plaster Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use drywall repair techniques for some types of plaster damage. Tiny holes and small cracks in plaster can be patched in similar ways to drywall. You apply the necessary compound to fill the hole, wait for it to dry, then sand it down. For larger damage, like water damage or mold, you need to use plaster-specific techniques and materials.

Ceiling-mounted curtains won’t damage the ceiling if they’re installed properly. Using the right anchors or securing the brackets into joists will ensure the curtain weight is properly supported and prevent damage. However, overtightening screws, using weak anchors, or repeatedly removing and reinstalling hardware in the same spot can cause cracking or sagging over time. In that case, you might have to call a pro for ceiling repair.

The allure of Venetian plaster lies in its unique appearance and individual characteristics in a home. It’s sophisticated and multidimensional and has a rich history dating back to Ancient Rome. This type of plaster finish is durable and represents a style of luxury that has been practiced for thousands of years. Many designers pair the texture of Venetian plaster with modern furnishings, resulting in an elegant and refined aesthetic.

Wondering who to call for ceiling repair? While you can hire a handyperson to fix minor cracks, you’ll want to hire a drywall professional for larger issues. Depending on the cause of the crack, you may need to hire other contractors, such as a foundation contractor, mold remediation company, roofer, or plumber near you.

It may take a bit of patience and trial and error to match your particular drywall texture type when making repairs. For orange peel or knockdown finishes, use a spray texture product or a thinned joint compound applied with a roller or sponge. Practice on scrap drywall or cardboard first. Once dry, lightly sand and prime before painting.
