"Best Tree Service I've ever had. Prompt, extremely responsive, emailed photos right after job completed, fair pricing, and the clean up after the work was finished was exemplary. Strongly sugest you give Willliam a try for your next landscaping tree or shrub trimming job or general landscaping. He's great!, and friendly and professional!"

"Very professional for such a messy job of removing a dead tree right at my front door. The only way you can tell they where here is the tree is gone. Very impressed ,and I will hire them again for some irrigation upkeep."

"Came out the same day gave a very reasonable quote in our budget to trim 2 large pine trees, remove hedge, remove 6 cypress trees! Their 5 man crew were fast, thorough, personable and very professional. Left the area pretty darn clean after pulling big branches through the property to the street to go into the shredder. Licensed and bonded and concious of safety and tying off branches to prevent damage. I thought they would b there all night but they started bout 4pm and were done by 6:30pm. Awesome job! Great crew!"

"We’ve been at our house for 13 years and in that time have gone through 5 different landscaping companies. Green Life Landscape is our preferred landscaping company, we’ve been using them for about 3 years now and we are very happy with their service. The time and the care Jose and his team provide during each visit is really appreciated. I love getting home from work on landscaping day and seeing the lawn freshly cut and the flowers and shrubs looking on point."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Transplanting a palm tree is a similar process except for a couple of important differences. First, their root ball doesn’t need to be as large as a “true” tree, which makes them a bit easier to dig up and move around. Second, they struggle more with taking root and staying upright in a new location, so it’s important to give them extra support when staking.

The best time to transplant a tree is when it is dormant. For many trees, this means either in the fall after the leaves have dropped (around October or November) or in early spring before new growth begins (around March). The ideal timing can depend on the type of tree. Deciduous trees do well when moved in early spring or fall, while evergreens are best transplanted in early spring or late summer. For example, pine trees are best moved in early fall, but maples prefer late fall. Avoid transplanting in winter, as the frozen or hard, cold soil poses a significant risk to the roots and prevents the tree from acclimating properly.

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, but extensive trimming may take multiple days.

If an arborist is certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the highest level of certification available is ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. According to the ISA, this credential is reserved for arborists “who have reached the pinnacle of their profession.” Check your arborist’s credentials before hiring to confirm their level of training and expertise.

Early signs that a tree is struggling include premature leaf shedding and lesions or other strange markings. Peeling bark, dead or rotten branches on the ground, and a conspicuous lack of leaves can all be signs that a tree has started to die. By the time a tree starts leaning, it’s usually too far gone to save.
