"The gentleman spent quite a bit of time with me discussing the carpet and the caution that needed to be taken in cleaning it because he was not sure how stable the colors were or if it would buckle or shrink. He said he would test to see if it in fact was wool and would try a topical cleaning approach. If that didn't work, he'd call me to get authorization to take further measures. The cost was to be $100. A week later I went in to get the carpet and the same gentleman went through the issues with me. He said they'd tried the topical method, but his feeling was it didn't improve the odor that much. Since he'd determined that the color was NOT stable, he couldn't proceed with other cleaning for fear of ruining my carpet. Therefore there was no charge at all and he said I would need to take it to a dry cleaner. He explained a lot about the rug and how it was made and cautioned me about its care going forward. It appears to be a delicate little flower!! I didn't feel right not paying him anything for his effort and time; so he said how about $30? I thought that was very acceptable. Yes, the carpet does still have odor, but it actually does seem to be quite a bit better. My feeling is that this company is very reputable and I would definitely use them again. I also had a strong recommendation to use Beacon from a local carpet company. As I prepared to leave I was given a bottle of carpet spot cleaner, for nothing! These people seem to be really good guys.

"Joe and his partner were so professional and polite! They came to clean my 11 blinds that havenâ t been touched in years and were filthy. Joe and his partner took them all down and cleaned them in their mobile van. Once cleaned, they hung them up and made sure we were satisfied with their serviceâ and boy, were we beyond satisfied! Our blinds were squeaky clean and looked brand new. Amazing job and I would recommend Joe to anyone who needs their blinds cleaned. So happy with the result! Thanks, Joe! You have my business for life! I will definitely recommend him to friends!"

"I?m a property manager, so hiring a dependable crew is important. Darian with Janitors OC is my go to and first choice for residential cleaning. I also love that they do pressure washing and window cleaning. Instead of hiring 3 vendors, I use Janitors OC. They do a great/detailed job and have competitive pricing. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!"

Professional blind cleaning costs between $10 to $50 per blind. The type of blind and blind size make up most of the cost, but you may also need to pay a fee for cleaning supplies. Aluminum Venetian blinds are quite dirt resistant and cost around $10 to $34 per blind. However, roller blinds are more complex to clean, ranging from $18 to $50 per blind.
The average cost to hire a house cleaner is between $30 and $50 per hour. Costs vary depending on house size, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of cleaning you want. Deep cleaning will be more expensive since it requires more time and effort to move furniture and clean hard-to-reach areas compared to a standard cleaning session.
The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.
There are ways to save money on blind cleaning to help maximize this project and keep your blinds looking like new. Some ways to save money on this project include:
Cleaning all blinds at once can potentially give you a discount
Choosing a more cost-effective method, like ultrasonic cleaning, over more expensive options
Speak with different blind cleaning companies about deals or special coupons
Although tipping is not a requirement, many people tip house cleaners around 10% to 15% of the final cleaning cost. Some people tip as much as 20% or more, but it’s up to your discretion. Rather than tipping each cleaning session, you can also tip monthly or give the house cleaner a holiday bonus. There are no rules for tipping, but if your house cleaner did a great job it’s encouraged.
