The gentleman spent quite a bit of time with me discussing the carpet and the caution that needed to be taken in cleaning it because he was not sure how stable the colors were or if it would buckle or shrink.  He said he would test to see if it in fact was wool and would try a topical cleaning approach.  If that didn't work, he'd call me to get authorization to take further measures.  The cost was to be $100.  A week later I went in to get the carpet and the same gentleman went through the issues with me.  He said they'd tried the topical method, but his feeling was it didn't improve the odor that much.  Since he'd determined that the color was NOT stable, he couldn't proceed with other cleaning for fear of ruining my carpet.  Therefore there was no charge at all and he said I would need to take it to a dry cleaner.  He explained a lot about the rug and how it was made and cautioned me about its care going forward.  It appears to be a delicate little flower!!  I didn't feel right not paying him anything for his effort and time;  so he said how about $30?  I thought that was very acceptable.  Yes, the carpet does still have odor, but it actually does seem to be quite a bit better.  My feeling is that this company is very reputable and I would definitely use them again.  I also had a strong recommendation to use Beacon from a local carpet company. As I prepared to leave I was given a bottle of carpet spot cleaner, for nothing! These people seem to be really good guys.

"My original call was handled politely by Ed and he clearly explained the process and verbally estimated the total cost based on the size of my house, we then scheduled the cleaning appointment. The on-site tech James and his assistant were on-time, courteous and professional. The cleaning was completed within the expected 2-3 hour window and no mess was left at completion. "Joe and his partner were so professional and polite! They came to clean my 11 blinds that havenâ t been touched in years and were filthy. Joe and his partner took them all down and cleaned them in their mobile van. Once cleaned, they hung them up and made sure we were satisfied with their serviceâ and boy, were we beyond satisfied! "They did a great job cleaning. They moved the furniture, cleaned everywhere and dusted everything. All in 1/3 the time! Unlike my previous cleaners, 4 people came and everyone had their dedicated space. It was so much faster and they did better job than those who come in 1-2. I notice 1-2 cleaning crew get tired and sloppier as time goes by, these people did not. I’ll have them over & over!"

"WOW! Scott is a 10+++ in my book! From estimate to completion he is a first rate guy and I would highly recommend you call him first for any flooring maintenance needs you have. He is timely, considerate, very reasonably priced, very professional and most of all his work and work ethic is above and beyond! We just purchased a home and the hardwood floors were abnormally shiny. When other companies told us we needed to re-finish the floors for ten's of thousand of dollars, Scott explained and showed us how the floors were just a victim to an over application of Bona Hardwood Floor Polish.  He said he could clean them back to their original glory and he did! Our floors look brand new and Scott and his crew did it for almost  1/10th the price other companies wanted to charge us. We have almost 5,000 sq feet of flooring that Scott worked on for 2 days. Yesterday he and his crew were there for almost 11 hours working diligently; they were committed to getting the job done! They even threw in my balcony. At the end of the day he and his crew were just as kind and pleasant as they were when starting the job! They worked so hard. We have already talked to him about coming back and taking care of the discolored tile in our courtyard. Wish all contractors and service people ran their business like Scott does!
