  Moshe, Mickey and the guys at Construction Masters did a stellar job on our huge home remodel. We added a second story to our small 2-1 craftsman bungalow in Westwood, nearly doubling it in size. We also moved a kitchen and living room wall and completely gutted our very old kitchen. We basically rebuilt the entire home, while doing out best retain and restore the character of our older home. We had tried to start this process over a few years, running into snags and unethical contractors along the way, and are so happy that we landed in the capable hands of this team. At every step along the way, we felt honestly communicated with and cared for on a personal level. They were top notch as well as courteous and considerate of our neighbors. Not only did they do a remarkable job and make our house the talk of the neighborhood, they went above and beyond to really be sure we were always 100% happy with all of the work being done.   Sometimes, when a company makes a mistake you find out if that company stands behind their work and if they are made up of people with integrity. Back in April 2021, I called the company that installed my beautiful cedar wood garage doors to recommend someone to restain them. I trust the garage door company because they did a spectacular job installing the custom doors. He recommended Rick Jamison Painting (RJP), who has good Yelp reviews. Rick came right out right away and gave me a quote. Once the pricing was set, we made an appointment for his workers to do the job. But, not long after, I was scratching my head as the doors were looking dry and brittle. Rick came back out and determined that another coat would solve the problem. I had to pay more, but I didn't care because I really wanted my doors to look nice. After the second time they stained it, which was in June, OMG, the stain started to bubble. Feeling really confused and somewhat angry, I almost wanted to cry . So, Rick sent his son out to look at it. They came back out at the end of August and completely fixed everything. Now my garage doors look brand new again! RJP will have my business to maintain the doors from now on. I love my garage doors; they are beautiful. They look brand new! Best of all, I can honestly tell my neighbors and friends whom to use to stain and refinish their wood garage doors, because RJP absolutely stood behind their work. P.S. Shai helped me with ideas, was honest about what was needed and what was not. Miguel and Angel , who work for Butel, gave me new ideas on how to place the bathroom tile as well as the cabinet for the island both of which came out better than anything I was imagining.   Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was upgrading my house looking to find the right price and service but also looking for a technologically knowledgeable and competent company too. I was looking for a high end garage door company that can service my needs! I was not looking for a cheap low end company that would possibly disappear or not be available in the future, or someone like some previous companies I dealt with that hooked things up wrong and then I spent more money and time fixing their mess. I spent a few weeks gathering information about the various doors and technology and what future uses you can get from a garage door. I interviewed a few good companies. I found that all my requirements were met by Xtra Care Garage & Gate I setup an initial appointment and from measurement and quote through installation everything was smooth and efficient. It all happened so efficiently and quick that I was left very impressed. Aviran was friendly, ALWAYS available for questions, punctual and reliable and his installers were careful, tidy and completed the job quickly. Everyone involved took pride in their work and were very pleasant to deal with to say the least. At the end I have a great garage door, it works perfectly, it looks extremely good and complements my new house design, it has the traditional remote control, but it also has an APP, it integrates in Home Assistant, my whole house home automation software, it can be controlled remotely. This is what I wanted to achieve and I have to say that few companies could understand all my requirements as well as Aviran. First the garage door opener has a battery backup so it can open when there is no power, second is the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi network, third is eliminating the overhead space taken by the garage door opener and moving it to the wall and opening and closing the garage door quicker with less noise too. The WIFI connectivity allows for remote control and monitoring of the garage door directly from an app on a smartphone in addition to my Home Assistant home automation software. Next it also allows for Amazon to deliver directly to the garage by opening and closing the garage door without my help. I also got $40 from Amazon for enabling the service We are VERY VERY thrilled with the result. It was what I wanted and hoped for!   We had few remodeling projects that we needed done for our home and from the beginning, our project manager, Jacob, did not disappoint us. Jacob and his team were professional, kind, and always took the time to discuss our needs about some changes we wanted to make. Jacob gave us many suggestions and ideas and we quickly got to work. We needed several things done on the inside of our home, but also in the backyard and front driveway. Jacob and his team transformed the floors, yard and driveway into a more modern, beautifully put a together work of art. Some of this work included making cement repairs and changing the driveway from stone to concrete. A bunch of the bricks in the yard were damaged and old and Jacob’s team could redo the walls and floors with the new brick color we selected. We could immediately see a difference as they payed so much attention to detail in lining everything up perfectly and we could tell that they had a lot of experience.
