"We had radiant barrier insulation installed insteads of blown in insulation. It was laid in the attic rafters, upon the completion of the job the service provider could have done a better job of cleaning up. He also left some marking on our cabinet. When the gentleman came over to give us an idea of what radiant barrier is we never knew when he would be there, they gave us an estimate but then upon completion we wrote a check, but never received a receipt of payment, or work order showing completed work. All we had was the gentleman sign the estimate that we had been given two weeks prior to the job. And the installer did not have any paperwork saying that he did the job. But we had him write that on the estimate. I would expect more professional paperwork."

"Since this remodeling was the first remodeling that we decided to do after a long time since we did our last remodeling that required to hire a contractor to do it. The kitchen that we wanted to remodel, need to includes the cabinets, floors, island, counter tops, hardware, paint and lighting. They were very responsive from the first meeting we had, patiently and really wanted to know what I’m trying to do in the kitchen. They were in touch with me during the whole work and made sure to provide me with updates regard anything that was complete and what will be next. What I liked most was that they were extremely detail-oriented. I very much appreciated that, especially given the Major scope of my project and plans. The end results were more than I expected. All the low voltage lightings, the special insulation that they used, the extra protection that they installed in the window that I have in the kitchen and more… All of this features improved the energy protection at the kitchen. They followed up with me the following day after all the final documents were signed off by me about the work in order to make sure that I was happy with the final results. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"All Pest Pros removed existing insulation, cleaned attic and sealed any potential rodent entry points and replaced w/new insulation.  They also secured the house against rodent ability to access by reconstructing access doors under the house, closed off all exterior rodent entry points around the structure and placed traps to assure the sealing was effective.   Staff was professional, courteous and responsive.  The work was done to our satisfaction.   We live on an acreage w/surrounding acreage properties.  Squirrels, racoons, skunks, mice and rats have multiple places to live.  We've had no rodent or any other animal accessing under our house or in the walls or attic since All Pest Pro secured it."

"Sales visit was pushy, offering 10% off if I signed that day. I regret giving in. I went with single hung for affordability, but I would have preferred double hung. I wish someone would have told me that I might resent the single hung over time.

Installation was done by one man. He was friendly and capable, but he did run short on time. At the end of the day he asked if he could skip sealing the interior with caulk. He offered to leave caulk for us to finish up ourselves. I allowed this, but found that my caulking skills are not as neat as a professional! I regret this.

He completed the vinyl window wrapping. The product was not vinyl coated metal, but just vinyl, so the wrapping does not have crisp, clean corners. He used clear sylicon caulk on the wrapping. At first the caulking looked nice, but it has collected dirt over time and now looks very messy. He used an abundance of caulk and nails. Over time, I have become dissatisfied with the wrapping.

The insulation that Sears installs with the windows is only fiberglass stuffing. I would prefer foam fill. The windows are good quality, not excellent. I feel that the UV protection coating does add a dark tint. I wish I had known that there are different methods of UV protection and not all involve a dark tint."
