"Jose from Logical Plumber is very knowledgeable and professional. Thoroughly assessed the project and unselfishly decided the project was not necessary. Very honest of him. There’s not many honest and respectful businesses as his!"

"Nothing but good stuff from this company. Adrian (owners' son) is very knowledgeable and professional. I got quotes from two other plumbers for my kitchen drainage pipe massive leak. They both wanted to open-up the floor, and one of them wanted to also break-open the walkway, due to the extremely narrow crawl space. Adrian was the only one of the three that actually took a look under the house and determined that his men could dig under the footing to get to the problem. They arrived at the time scheduled, and left 2 hours later when the job done. And when I say done, I mean the area completely cleaned-up including picking-up the old pipes. They also had to cut into the stucco to get to the vent pipe. It looks like a surgeon did it. The stucco repairman is going to have an easy repair as a result. Trust me, if you're tired of dealing with plumbers that don't care about doing a good job, you have to hire Adrian at AD3 Plumbing for any plumbing issue you have. Adolfo Perez"

Customers say: True professional

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again."

At Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric, we’ve built more than a home services company — we’ve built a team of people who care. Since 1999, we’ve been serving homeowners across Los Angeles and Orange County with expert plumbing, heating, air, and electric solutions. But what really sets us apart is how we show up: with professionalism, pride, and a commitment to treating every home like it’s our own.\n\nOur mission is simple: to provide an elevated service experience to our members and their homes. That means doing the job right, communicating clearly, and going the extra mile — even when no one’s watching. Our long-time tagline, “Number One in a Number Two Business,” might get a laugh, but to us, it’s a reminder of the pride we take in doing the dirty work with integrity and heart.

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

Wells should be at least 100 feet deep for drinking water, but they may need to be deeper depending on the local geology, water quality, and your household’s water usage. Work with a qualified well drilling professional who can assess the appropriate depth for your well and test the water before drinking it.

With proper maintenance, most types of septic systems—including mound, evapotranspiration, and constructed wetland systems—can last up to 40 years. To keep your system running as long as possible, follow basic septic tank upkeep guidelines, like pumping your septic tank every three to five years and only flushing human waste and toilet paper.

Most deep wells can be expected to last somewhere between 30 and 50 years. This assumes that the well and all of its components are properly maintained on a regular basis. During this time, it is unlikely that modern deep wells will run dry over the course of their typical lifespan. That is one of the biggest benefits of digging a deeper well.

If there’s a problem with your sewage system, you might notice water pooling on the ground around the tank, which could indicate an overflow. Clogged and sluggish drains or foul smells coming from your plumbing are also signs that there might be a blockage in your septic system.

Since vinegar is a weak acid with a pH of two to three, it’s generally safe for septic systems. It won’t eat away at the good bacteria in your septic tank and can help break down the sludge, which is its bottom layer. However, like with everything in life, moderation is key.
