"Had front door which became stuck and hard to open and shut which suddenly loosened up with winter rain.  Observed cracks in paint and plaster in various locations in house.  Want to do remodeling but afraid to start if I had foundation issues.  Was told how ground undulates with weather conditions and what was normal.
Front door needs hinges replaced and be re-hung; cracks were superficial and suggested drywall, plaster repair before repainting; caulking where wall and chimney bricks meet in hallway; landscaping to make sure water drained downhill toward street; said foundation looked fine and was already bolted to house.
This was free and Mark's reassurance was greatly appreciated.  The company had done foundation repair work five years earlier and I was happy with them then, and still happy now.  He made sure I understood what was going on and why it happened.
