There were many things that needed to be done: installing new tile, repairing gates and doors; restoring original bannisters, dry rot, kitchen and 2-bathroom remodels - some major things but also all the odds and ends. The quality of the work, attention to detail, the range of technical expertise was above and beyond. The workers were hard working, efficient, and highly professional, often going above and beyond to give the little extra care to the home. Throughout the whole project it was ***easy to communicate****, easy to schedule, timelines and options were clear. I could be at work and know that everything would take care of everything for me. Deco ConstructionFred at Deco Construction did an amazing job for my parents. Their house was falling apart and they needed someone to help make improvements very badly. Fred and his crew did an amazing job with the balcony, master bathroom, guest bathroom and basement tiles. They transformed these rooms into something fantastic! They pay attention to detail and the outcome is amazing. Fred is also a great listener and can figure out what the clients wants and bring it together to make it look beautiful. Ori at Eco Design Pro delivered far more than an excellent remodel, he and his team helped us to recover from what every homeowner fears - the incompetent work of a terrible former contractor. You’ve all heard the horror stories, but we lived through one - after 5 months with our previous contractor, we were left with room after room of half-finished disasters and poor workmanship, giving us no choice but to terminate him. Enter our hero, Eco Design Pro - from the initial contact to our first walkthrough of our home, Ori was present, professional, and mindful of details. He was looking at the type of job that few contractors want to handle - fixing someone else’s poor workmanship. While others had backed away from the job, or scared us with their over-estimations of work needed, Ori came to the table with solutions in mind and a calmness. After discussing details, and doing another walkthrough with his foreman, he presented a great bid that was in-line with others we had received. We chose him because of great communication (always quick responses to emails or phone calls) and knowing that he was the owner of the company and seemed to make personal commitments to his jobs. We soon learned that he would be absolutely dedicated to our project throughout. As we learned (in a bad way) before, contractors are only as good as their foremen - and Ori’s foreman was great - respectful, skilled & competent, and on-time every single day. Although Ori is not on-site every day, he would visit at least twice a week to check-in, was always talking to his men at the job site, and was always available - just a text away with any questions. To give you an example of the issues our previous, inept contractor left - he had installed our brand new (not cheap) mosaic floor tile in our bathroom and had put down thin plywood as a sub floor. A month later, all the grout began cracking and the tiles were loose! This was one of about 50 things he botched. Ori and Eco Design Pro held our hands as we faced and uncovered these discoveries/horrors - like having to re-buy all new tile to re-install in two bathrooms. The whole time they did a great job of sticking to their bid, even when some unexpected things arose. Of course, like all home improvements on old houses, issues arise that are beyond the scope of the original bid - you need to expect this. Whenever these came up, we were immediately informed and discussed a solution and price. This was infrequent, and never did we feel like any of these items were out-of-the-blue or unreasonable. When doing work like this, things can change and it is important to be partnering with a contractor who can work with you, and fully understands the process. For example, part of our original bid was to replace our fireplace surround tile and mantle. During the job, we learned that our fireplace needed $12k of work and full replacement to function - this was beyond our budget. We discussed with Ori, and we quickly re-applied those funds to a roofing issue that had arisen during the project. No arguments, no eye rolls, no resistance - just solutions. The Eco Design Pro team worked at a brisk pace, but never overlooked details. They did an excellent job of staying on schedule and only deviated once when a closet door we needed was on backorder - but they came right back and set a date when it arrived. Ori and the Eco Design Pro team offer something beyond great workmanship to their customers, they offer TRUST - and anyone who has done any major home repairs will tell you, that is a rare quality in this industry.

Kris and his team at Creative Home Remodeling Group came through a recommendation from a friend whom had previously hired him. I had seen the quality of his work and knew that in addition to wanting the end product to be beautiful and high quality, I also wanted the security in knowing that they would take care of every step along the way so that we would never be worried if it would get done on time and how it would ultimately turn out. They were 100% the right choice. Kris and team communicated regularly, showed up when they said they would, communicated any changes in a timely manner, collaborated on creative decisions, and made the process as painless as possible. In the end, they finished on time and we love our new kitchen. They are not the least expensive choice but any difference in price with a competitor I believe was well worth it because of the quality and overall experience we had. I am currently working this company and although the renovation isn’t done yet, I had to come here and leave this honest review so others can protect themselves from working Moriah. This is our first remodel and we trusted Moriah, specifically a contractor named Eran Saida to not take advantage of us. We needed to get our bathroom and master bedroom remodeled after a flooding. We told Eran everything we wanted done and after seeing the scope of the work, said it wouldn’t be a problem and he could get it done in 3 weeks. (This turned out to be closer to 3 months btw!) In addition there were one or two small projects outside of the bedroom that we mentioned were important to us that we wanted him to address. Specifically a dry wall repair in our laundry room. When we showed it to Eran, he saw the small work required to get the job done and said he’s team would work on it at no additional expense. Eran than presented us with a contract immediately. We wanted more time to look it over but he pressured us into signing right away and that we could later add anything that was missing. This was a massive mistake, and one a more seasoned renovator might spot as a red flag. however we agreed to sign the contract based on our conversations with Eran, who won over our trust. As you can probably guess, those two or three small projects Eran said he would “take care of” never got done. Now, 3 months laster, the project still isn’t complete, and we’re asking for an update on those verbal promises and ALL OF A SUDDEN ERAN HAS NO MEMORY of every promising us anything. Now, he insisting that in order to get those small projects done, it’s going to cost thousands of dollars!!! This is in addition to months of terrible communication! We never know who to talk to. They hardly every updated our online portal or calendar, so we never knew when workers would be arriving or have any expectation as to when the project would be done, AND at one point they “misplaced” our flooring and insisted that we pay another $5,000 for something we already purchased. We had to provide bank statements just to prove we already bought the flooring. It wasn’t until after we provided proof that ALL OF A SUDDEN they found copies of our receipts. And this is the kind consistent shadiness that has completely tarnished our relationship with Moriah. Now I will say, the workers have done a fantastic on with our bedroom and bathroom. This review is in no way a reflection on the quality of the remodel, but it more so is a cautionary tale about the way this company is managed. If you choose to work with Moriah, although I don’t recommend it, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Seriously, EVERYTHING! Never trust anything someone verbally says to you (especially Eran), and don’t depend on the online portal to give you any information other than the money you owe. Like I said, this was our first remodel and unfortunately we had to learn these lessons the hard way. What once was a very exciting renovation had turned into an absolutely nightmare that I don’t wish on anyone. If you’re reading this and are in need of a remodel, I would highly recommend getting quotes from other companies in the area.
