It did not go good.. The floors were not installed correctly.. The floors are coming up. He just does not do good contracting jobs.. and inexperience...

Very professional. I was given a written detailed quote and that is exactly what I paid. The work was done on time and expertly.

Alex was great about keeping the project on budget. The few overages we had were mainly due to us adding on extra projects throughout the course of construction. Some additional expenses are to be expected during any project but there was nothign that caused alarm or wasn't discussed during the initial estimate. We did go over the projected timeline but again we did add some projects and some delay was expected on our part. We did have an issue with a tiling project and Alex was wonderful about fixing it immediately without any conflict. We have since also used him to fix dry wall due to a leak and he was able to get his crew out the next day and was done before the weekend. Most importantly I found it very easy to get in touch with him and didn't feel like I was constantly trying to hunt him down which I have heard stories about in regards to contractors.

This was our fifth job with All Install over the past few years. Just like every other job they've done for us, they always showed up right on time, delivered at or above our expectations, and their price was more than fair. We have a number of other projects coming up soon and we'll definitely be asking All Install to do them for us.

It went very well as Alex is a very professional contractor. Helped solve problems as they arose and is easy to deal with.
You will not be disappointed if you use his services.

Three events have changed my opinion 180 degrees:
1. Alex never brought city's inspection
2. When I left for 2 weeks vacation, Alex stopped working on my project and placed his men elsewhere: contrary to our agreement. So, when I returned, the project did not move at all.
3. Five years later I move the furniture in the bedroom of the adjacent wall and found mold growth, spoiled back of the furniture and carpet . We opened the wall and found out that the bathroom's shower was not built properly - the black paper was not placed everywhere and water leaked along the inside walls into various directions (during showering). Alex hesitantly returned to repair it, meanwhile showing plenty of arrogance and attitude about the repair. He even promised to send me the bill for the repair work. I am still considering filing a claim against his contractor's license with www.cslb.ca.gov

We were very budget conscious. Alex and his crews did a good job of keeping the costs contained. This was a huge project, and thus of course not everything can go smooth as silk on a 6 month project, but Alex always came through with solutions. Alex always was available, on site or close by. This was very important to us. The proof is in the final product...the final result was excellent, and the house is fantastic.

I got quotes from 5 highly rated contractors and handymen on Angie's list. One wanted to de-install the entire sliding glass door, which was only 18 months old and replace it with a new door, plus repair any damage to the surrounding drywall and repaint around the door (for $4350). Another two wanted to de-install the door and re-install it, but did not mention the drywall, only the paint. A sliding door specialist who came out said there was no need to de-install the door, only to re-caulk the place where the sliding glass door frame met the wooden frame, but I would have to call a painter to fix the damage to the paint next to the door where the water had run down the wall. Then Alex came, and he carefully inspected the drywall next to the door, felt and saw no damage to it, only to the paint, and said his best advice was to re-caulk the seal and then repair the paint, all of which he could have one of his employees do for what I thought was a resonable fee. We agreed on this, and he had it done within a week.

Overall, the work went well, and I would hire Alex again.

We put together a great team with Alex Zerkovsky and architect Philip de Bolske. Alex has is a problem solver (and almost every remodel uncovers unexpected problems!) he has reliable (and honest) workers and does his very best to bring the work in on schedule and on budget. his fees are fair and he finds a way to "make things work" For after our kitchen remodel is finished, we are already planning the next project(s).

The overall experience was a satisfactory one. Alex's price was fair, and he completed the work in a timely manner. He was able to adapt to changing needs, and he had creative solutions to some of the problems that arose. His workers are pleasant. The work was done well, and they were responsive in correcting small problems that showed up later. We are very happy to have found All Install Company, and we continue to call on Alex for other projects that are smaller in scope. We would not hesitate to ask him to remodel another place, should the need arise.

The service was excellent. I can not recall a single issue during this 6-8 weeks long project. The owner, Alex is a person of the highest integrity. He is extremely punctual and he is late he always advises about it (an utmost rarity among contractors). The price was very reasonably and considering the value I have received (workmanship quality, no aggravation, etc.) it is one of the better deals I had. Alex uses experienced workers who do an excellent job and he is frequently on-site monitoring the work and can be reached on his phone at any reasonable time. I would never hesitate to use Alex and his company again and am strongly recommending him as an experienced and reliable contractor.

Alex Zerkovsky, the leadership at All Install, is an engineer by training. Accordingly, he tackles every assignment as a challenge to accomplish with the highest quality at the lowest total cost. I'm constantly impressed with his breadth of knowledge. This, coupled with his exceptional attention to customer satisfaction, makes for an unusual and highly-prized contractor resource. I cannot recommend All Install too highly.

In general, Alex and his team provided high quality work and a high level of responsiveness. We had to completely gut our old kitchen and now have a new kitchen that is beautiful, great to work in and really holds up to the day to day challenges of life!! It has really added to the enjoyment of our life to have such a great central space in our home. This is so because they worked with us to create custom solutions to our needs within a very tight budget. The job was completed in three months which was reasonable, particularly given the challenges with the exterior wall which we didn't realize would have to be rebuilt when we started. But, they discovered the problem, figured out how to solve it and didn't charge us an arm and a leg for a very significant addition to the scope of work. And even now, almost nine months later, they are quick to respond if the need arises to fix a little thing here or there. We are very appreciative that we found All Install.

Working with Alex is great. He is always on time, honest, never alters from his price quote and does an excellent job. I am always happy to work with Alex.

I had a very positive experience. Alex is extremely professional and always very understanding even when we suddenly changed our idea on how to place the tiles in one of the patios after they were almost done with it. Alex was also very nice to suggest us the most sound and convenient solution to our problem. I highly recommend him.

We were extremely satisfied with the work of Alex Zerkovsky and ALL INSTALL from start to finish. Alex is professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable, as are his crew. Alex listened well to my ideas, incorporating them, and coming up with creative solutions to problems. He is a pleasure to work with and an all-around gentleman. The work began and was completed on time, and Alex's estimate was fair and accurate. We could not have been more pleased with the work of ALL INSTALL, as evidenced by the fact that we have had them back again and again for other jobs. We have, in fact, just hired them to make more improvements to our backyard. We heartily recommend Alex Zerkovsky and ALL INSTALL!

I initially hired Alex due to his reputation on Angie's List and the fact that of the three estimates I received his was the most detailed and professional. Initially, Alex provided me with a clear time-line for the job and communicated well. Unfortunately, after the first week or so, things fell apart. On two separate occasions Alex told me various stages of the job would be ready for other contractors (flooring, etc.) to come in and yet when I arrived home the night before things were in no way ready for the other contractors and Alex was unreachable. He never apologized for these instances and simply provided excuses like (I didn't think the other contractor would come early the next morning so I was going to finish then). As the time-table was extended, Alex did not communicate well to update me as to new timelines - I shared with him that I was not bothered by delays, but needed communication so that I could understand what to expect, this never happened. Over the course of the job I also learned that Alex is NOT detail oriented. Some examples: (1) the ceiling he repaired is not textured to match the existing ceiling - the difference is minor, but there is a CLEAR line separating the old ceiling texture from the new, (2) when he moved my cabinets, he installed trim on some, but not all of them, and where he did install trim, he did not stain it to match the existing countertops, (3) Alex explained to me the importance of having cabinets complete prior to countertop measurements, and then let the countertop installers measure prior to prep, the result is that I have a hole under the countertop where a cabinet was to have been built by Alex, the size is odd and I now cannot find anything to go there, and (4) the garbage disposal was installed on the wrong side of the sink. These are just some examples of Alex's lack of attention to detail. When I discussed these with him, he never seemed concerned and would repeat "no worries, no worries" or "its okay, its okay". The problem is that I did worry and it is not ok - in fact, I will now need to do much work to fix these detail problems and Alex did not seem to care. Finally, once the job was done, I have noticed many problems. Two examples: (1) I have had to call the plumber out at my expense because Alex did not properly re-install the garbage disposal and I came home one day to a mini-flood in the kitchen and leaking under the sink, (2) my balcony is tiled and Alex and his crew damaged and knocked off a number of tiles I will now have to try to replace/repair. A final note: Alex recommended a countertop fabricator/installer to me as he does not do this work, the fabrication and installation was unsatisfactory and Alex was not responsive in helping me to address the problems (which are still ongoing). All in all, my experience with Alex and All Install Company was a stressful and bad one, I cannot recommend them.

The best general contractor I have ever met. Honest, responsible and very knowlegable.

Fast, professional, good quality at a fair price. Alex has an extensive knowledge of all kinds of home repairs ( a friend of mine uses him all the time) and is very open and honest. He provides a detailed estimate up front and did a terrific job both times he's worked for me.

The remodeling in both units went very well. Allinstall was on time and stayed on budget. I was kept apprised of the progress of the work when I could not be there. The crews were professional, cleaned up and left the premises in great condition. They were courteous to our other tenants. I was very pleased with the results and the units rented quickly.

Alex and his workers are courteous and knowledgeable. For our most recent job we wanted an ugly brick facade removed from the exterior of our house and some poorly installed vinyl trim (installed by the previous owner) replaced around the windows. Alex's man did a fantastic job, matching the texture of the stucco perfectly to the existing surface and also crafted some very nice redwood trim for the windows. We will certainly have All Install Co. back and will recommend to friends in the future.

Alex is the kind of contractor you want to know; honest, punctual & does great work. His quotes are detailed and clear and accurate/binding. He's my first call for whatever I need.

Gutting a bathroom is hard to live with of course, but the men cleaned up every night so that it was not as hard as it could have been. It did take longer than I had figured, but there was a delay in getting the correct tile which accounted for some of the time. I love the bathroom so it was worth it.

Since All Install Co. has done many jobs for us and for our family members, it is hard to know where to start describing how it went overall as though we were just talking about one job. So, I will summarize all of the jobs in this section and say that our experience, overall, was amazing. We have never had such great service and workmanship from any contractor in the past. All Install Co. is a true find and a real treasure.
