"My deck needed to be re-stained. This involved power washing and sanding before the stain was applied. I chose a solid stain. The deck looks really good. The crew was nice, polite, and skilled. I also needed my windows caulked which they did for an additional fee. I have a two story house so it required ladder work. This was accomplished in less than a day. I would hire Bayardo again."
Before pictures
(Before Pic)Home was pressure washed with a 3000 psi machine to remove as much dirt and grime from the exterior house wall surfaces before painting. We sanded all the bad areas and spot primed them before painting. Used caulking to seal any open grooves and open wood joints as needed.
(Before l) This photo shows the condition of the cabinet before it was refinished. You can see the stain is faded and clear coat is chipping away from water damage and moisture in the air.
Exterior Repaint
Prepped the door for painting. Sanded it then primed it. Removed the door handle and carefully covered the hinges before spray painting the door.

"Tony was professional, reliable and completed my house on a timely basis. The house is three stories and required extensive prep work. My neighbors have already asked for his contact information. I will definitely be asking Tony for help on an ongoing basis."

"Ivan and his crew were absolutely wonderful! They not only painted our entire house a new color, but they also removed and replaced window frames that were rotten or termite damaged. All of their work was top notch: professional, friendly, on-time and with excellent communication skills. My wife and I are so pleased with the job Ivan and his crew did, that we highly recommend him to anyone who needs their house painted; you will not be disappointed, I promise you."

"Victor and the Prestige team did a fantastic job on repainting the trim of our house, as well as refinishing the wood window trim indoors. They helped us find a perfect match for the interior wood trim, which is not an easy task. They provided several different stain options, and we could see in real-time what the stains looked like so that we made a decision we would be happy with. Highly recommend, will hire them again."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Unless you’re using a 2-in-1 formula or painting over an existing coat of paint, it pays to apply a coat of primer ahead of your new paint. Decks see a lot of footfall and exposure to extreme and sudden temperature changes and moisture levels. The primer promotes better paint adhesion, moisture repellency, and a smoother finish, which means you’ll often need fewer coats of paint.

You should seal your deck every one to two years, but you’ll also need to clean and repair your wood deck throughout the seasons. You may want to hire a local house cleaning service to sweep and clean the deck thoroughly. These cleaning services cost around $50 per hour.

Inspect your deck at least once a year, and if you notice any damage or rot, expect to spend about $10 to $50 for simple DIY fixes or about $2,000 for professional repairs on more extensive damage.

No, you don't need to stain Ipe decking, although you can if you want to change the color. You will, however, need to apply a UV coating if you don't want the natural color to fade. Speak to a deck staining specialist near you to discuss the best options if you want to stain your decking. And remember that you’ll need to seal your Ipe wood deck annually to protect it from scratches and Mother Nature.

Eggshell and satin finishes are best for porches because they sit in the sweet spot between scuffable matte and distracting high gloss. Your porch sees a fair amount of wear and tear, so you don’t want paint that’ll show every mark like matte, but you don’t want to be blinded by glossy paint in the sun either. Eggshell and satin have durability and a look that sits nicely in the middle.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood to help prevent the boards from cracking. However, you must wait for the wood to dry out completely before applying any finish. Freshly treated wood can take weeks or even months to dry; a common recommendation is to wait three to six months. To check if the wood is ready, perform a simple water test: drip some water onto the surface. If the water beads up, the wood is still too wet and needs more time to dry. If the wood absorbs the water, it is dry enough to be painted or stained. You can proceed with building your deck or fence while the wood is still wet, but you will need to wait to apply the paint or stain.
