"the estimator came out and though he was super brusque with me, his professionalism otherwise and his price got me to commit to his company above another company (and estimator) i personally liked much more. he was very thorough with the sizing of the awnings and made copious notes, so i felt comfortable that superior awnings would do a great job. unfortunately, the guys they sent to install the awnings were absolute lunkheads. they brought with them the prefabricated awnings (frames and canvas) which should have been easy to install after installing a couple, then had to actually move them - and the ginormous bolts that were in the side of the building! - because they didn't pay attention to the height of each one. they were completely off height of each other. they then asked ME which awning went on which window (and to measure them!) and even told me they didn't have paperwork to show where each one went. i couldn't believe this so i asked to see ALL of the paperwork they had and then found where the company HAD sent the paperwork of which one went where... they literally didn't understand north/south/east/west as printed on the page - and didn't think to just ask me that! the worst part though, is that they installed them incorrectly. the canvas wasn't taught so there were unsightly wrinkles in many areas, and the frames were even bent. a few days later, the company sent out another more experienced installer who actually badmouthed the first guys (understandably - they were idiots and made the company look bad, not to mention lose money sending out another team) who at least was proficient at his job. he smoothed out the wrinkles and tied the frames the best he could, but still - we know that we have moved and bent frames up on our structure. overall, i'd skip this company to just save a few hundred bucks."

A. the best of customer services, with quick responses to all questions during estimate, removal of old wooden patio cover and construction of new patio cover. In addition, Deisy and Jorge were extremely patient and helpful with changes we made during estimate period. B. quality, premier materials, that were used in replacing our old patio cover. The new patio cover not only looks beautiful, but is very sturdy, matches our homes paint scheme and, because of its' insulated roofing, is much cooler than our previous patio cover. C. on-time replacement and construction of new patio cover. Deisy and Jorge were very clear about the time line for materials order/arrival, removal of existing patio cover and construction of new patio cover. During removal of old cover and construction of new patio cover, Jorge and his assistant paid attention to all details including securing and daily cleanup of work site. My wife and I enjoyed working working with Jorge and Deisy and highly recommend California Awnings."

They quickly and efficiently installed the awning in a couple of hours, placing the inside control switch and exterior connections exactly where we requested to facilitate our planned future electrical needs outside. The control lets us extend or retract or stop the awning anywhere in between with ease. From the day it was installed, it has performed flawlessly, and it continues to do so. We don’t extend it every day, but we do extend it most days. The extension and retractions motion is nearly silent; you have to listen closely to hear it. When we started looking into getting a patio cover we got bids from three different companies.  We choose to go with PatioCrew.  Now we have a big beautiful insulated patio cover and we love it.  Warren and the crew were all really nice and polite to work with.  They specialize in patio covers and it shows.  They got the permit from the city for us and had no problem hooking up lights and fans under the cover.  The workmanship and quality is great, and we would highly recommend them to anyone!
