"Excellent communication from the first meeting to look at the roof, through establishing the contract, scheduling, and completing the work. There was unexpected additional action required at the end of the project and, Rene, the Superintendent, followed up and had that completed ASAP. I also want to comment that the roof replacement was done on my parents' home in S.Calif. I live in the Seattle area. I had hoped to be there during the roof replacement but the timing was such that I could not be. Rene was accessible to me by phone or email if I had questions or was working through details on behalf of my parents. He always responded in a timely manner. Rene also went above and beyond by taking pictures of each stage of the project, emailing them to me with updates. "Chuck gave us a solid bid. Explained the process better than all the other bids and they offer a 10 year workmanship warranty while almost others offered a 5-7 year. The quote was for 13,900. Bid was better than the others and for a product the roof said was better than the torch down called TPO. Workmanship, clean-up, professionalism etc were great. The only reason for the B grade was that there were some change orders that were done without signature that added to the cost by about $5,000. They may have/probably been needed but all the other change orders Ive dealt with in the past with other contractors have involved the contractor showing me the issue, giving me a price and then having us sign off on it. That didn't happen on a few of them. We were given the change order after the work was completed, the issue was demoed, thus no idea if they were needed or not. I would usually fight it more than I did but the high reviews on Angie's list provided me with a better sense of trust than I usually give my contractors and I paid it. So far I couldn't be more happy with the workmanship of the install. I feel pretty confident that the roof will last a very long time."
