"Overall, I was very pleased with the service. I had six window screens repaired. I was told that there was a minimum of $150.00 requirement. I wasn’t told this in advance, the cost was approx. $22 per window, times 6=$132.00. We settled on $140.00."

"We were having problems with our double front entry doors and a sliding screen door. Jose took a look at the front door, analyzed the problem and had it working perfectly in just a few minutes. He did the same with the sliding screen door. Very quick, polite an professional, and reasonably priced. We're planning to use him for other repairs."

"Omar is a hard worker. He will give you recommendations and ideas on what you want to fix. He gets the job done on time!! Vanessa is great with communication. Responses fast. Helps with product ideas like vanities, lights etc. We had our master bedroom vanity, lights and cabinet mirror replaced. Omar had to redo the plumbing to adjust the height of the sink. "They were the only company out of 4 that responded to my inquiry and promptly made an appointment for an estimate. After my agreement with the reasonable estimate, Antonio proceeded to work on the repairs immediately and the work was done by early afternoon on the same day. He was very personable, clearly explained what he did and all the work was done well. I’m glad no other service responded because I’m sure he was the Best. I’m so glad I found them and will definitely keep them as my future service. Thank you, Antonio!"

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Common problems include leaks, broken glass, and damaged frames. Regular maintenance prevents extensive damage.

No, it’s not safe to leave a doggy door open. It might be more convenient, especially at night when you just want to lay in bed. However, when you leave it open, it increases the chance of other critters getting in without your knowledge. Also, it leaves your pup unsupervised for hours at a time.

Window screen repair costs an average of $310, with a typical range of $100 to $480. The final price depends on several factors, including the window size, accessibility, screen type, whether the frame needs replacement, and especially the screen material.

The cost of window screen materials varies widely based on durability and features:

  • Fiberglass: $35–$200

  • Aluminum: $50–$300

  • Copper: $90–$850

  • Stainless Steel: $45–$400

  • Brass: $100–$900

  • Solar: $55–$850

  • Security: $100–$1,000

  • Vinyl: $25–$120

Costs also differ by screen type. For instance, a prefabricated screen might cost only $40, moveable screens typically run $25 to $75, and retractable screens range from $300 to $900. To save money, you can choose more affordable materials like vinyl or fiberglass, opt to rescreen instead of replacing the entire frame, and have multiple screens repaired at once to reduce labor costs.

Screen doors have a positive ROI because of their safety features. They add protection from debris, critters, and, depending on the material, even heat. However, storm doors are better than screen doors when it comes to overall protection.

Yes, you can fix windows without replacing them. However, this will depend on the severity of the issue and what your needs are. Minor water damage, broken glass, damaged casing, and worn caulking are usually easy repairs. But if there is excessive damage, the windows are constantly foggy, or the windows are very old, it’s best to consider replacing them. Replacement windows cost between $575 and $1,475 per window, or an average of $850 per window.
