"Jose was on time, knowledgeable, experienced, and trustworthy. He re-screened all 16 windows quickly. Cleaned up and he was on his way. One screened slider now has “pet” screen. If you’re looking to re-screen, this is who you should hire. This isn’t a fluff review. I I have not been compensated in any way. Everyone knows that there are thousands of fake, friends and family ratings. Trust this local business."

"Branden does a great meticulous job paying attention to detail. Branden takes his time but does it right. And he is very good with following-up if you want additional work done. Branden installed new screens for a couple of windows and also fixed a few other things that were broken."

"After dealing with frequent roof repairs, we finally decided on a complete replacement for our Livermore home. Avi kept us informed every step of the way, and the finished roof exceeded our expectations. It's made a noticeable difference during hot summer days."

Helps with product ideas like vanities, lights etc. We had our master bedroom vanity, lights and cabinet mirror replaced. Omar had to redo the plumbing to adjust the height of the sink. "They were the only company out of 4 that responded to my inquiry and promptly made an appointment for an estimate. After my agreement with the reasonable estimate, Antonio proceeded to work on the repairs immediately and the work was done by early afternoon on the same day. He was very personable, clearly explained what he did and all the work was done well. I’m glad no other service responded because I’m sure he was the Best. I’m so glad I found them and will definitely keep them as my future service. Thank you, Antonio!"

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Typically every 10-15 years or whenever they show signs of wear and tear.

Professionals clean window screens the same way a homeowner can—by removing the screens and cleaning them with a sponge. A window cleaning pro may come with better equipment, like a high powered wet/dry vacuum or pressure washer to speed up the process and achieve a deeper clean.

You can trim an overhead garage door screen to fit your garage door opening. This is a particularly helpful hack if you have an irregularly sized garage door opening but are still interested in installing a garage door screen to keep pests and debris out. Trim the garage door screen carefully to avoid unsightly edges or an uneven fit.

Most standard windows can accommodate solar screens, but specialty shapes or non-standard frames may require custom solutions. It’s important to consult with a professional to ensure compatibility and proper fit for unique window designs. Arched, bay, and fabricated windows often need fabricated screens, which can increase costs and lead time.

Yes, you can absolutely put a screen on a casement window, and most casement windows come with screens. Unlike with a double-hung, single-hung, or sliding window, the screen in a casement window sits on the inside of the window so that the sash can freely open outward. Screens are especially important for casement windows because the large window opening the window provides leaves your home more open to bugs and outside debris than most other types of operable windows.
