"I found John V. to communicate every step of the project, with any time frame changes, or additional costs, all the while thru process. The sub-contractors very punctual and efficient, always left the area cleaned up. I had 2 bathrooms remodeled, upstairs and downstairs. I would recommend and use Tilebaths again."

"Moe and his team are the BEST. He is always available to answer your phone calls, texts, and emails. He will text you photos on the progress of your project. He may not be the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. That being said, he is still sensitive to your budget and needs. What sets him apart is his background as a landscape architect and his focus on drainage. Most landscapers can make your project look nice for the short run. Moe wants to make sure that it'll last for the long run. Chepe his foreman can do more than landscaping - plumbing, electric, and even master arborist. He knew every different kind of tree on our property. Our project was finished on time and on budget."

"If you're looking for a reliable, honest contractor that has great design sense and an incredible work ethic, look no further. This was my first remodel and I was really nervous after hearing so many contractor horror stories from others. I feel like I hit the jackpot with SGI and the team. They guided me through the whole process and the end result was exactly what I wanted in my dream kitchen and bathroom. Every day of our project I would come home to a clean workspace and progress was made on schedule. With two little kids in the house that meant everything."

"Rigo was awesome throughout the whole remodel. He is very energized and accommodating. He offered great ideas when I needed them and was flexible with my changes. My new backyard looks great! The job was well done at an affordable price. Rigo made sure everything was done like I expected and I am very satisfied and happy with his work."

"Erez is very responsive, and the vast majority of the subcontractors he employs are fantastic (particularly his drywaller and plumber).  When initially he didn't have the sorts of cabinet doors I wanted (the price above included cabinets), he found another cabinet installer who did.  He was very flexible, and tried hard to make sure we were happy at each step along the way.  The drywaller was incredibly meticulous, both in his work, as well as in his clean-up, as well as being incredibly polite and punctual.  His electrician and plumber were both very good, and very professional.  The demo guy was incredibly UNprofessional, yelling at the top of his lungs while arguing with Erez about payment.  Thankfully, Erez said this was the first time he had ever used the guy, and that he has no intention of reusing him.  The cabinet installers screwed up a couple times (fairly minor stuff), which I attribute to language barrier, but Erez made sure they came back to correct it.  There were a few minor things that needed fixing (eg, the counter was a little off kilter because they didn't take into account the wall wasn't plumb, the tile had to be reinstalled to fit the oven), but they got everything right overall."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

When deciding whether or not to turn off your pump, you should consider your area’s climate and the aquatic life in your pond. If you live in an area with freezing winter temperatures and don’t have any wildlife, keeping your pump on could damage it. If you have aquatic life but live in a colder climate, you might consider keeping your pump running and adding a pond heater.

Most outdoor water fountains and features do not use a lot of electricity, typically consuming between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the fountain's motor can impact its overall electricity usage. To reduce energy consumption, you can use a timer to automatically turn the fountain off at night or when you are away from home. Additionally, installing solar power components can help lower electricity costs after the initial investment is recouped.

Deep clean your koi pond at least once a year to keep your fish healthy and your pond in good shape. Water testing, debris removal, and partial water changes should be performed weekly. Seasonal professional service will ensure everything is clean and functioning properly.

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.

When deep cleaning your koi pond, transfer fish to a clean, uncontaminated container at least one foot deep, like a large bucket, tub, or kiddie pond. Fill the container with their existing pond water to avoid shocking them, and place the container in full or partial shade. When it’s time to reintroduce them into the pond, slowly add the new water to the container before adding the fish and container water back into the pond.
