Ex: during the demolition, it was discovered that my old 30 year old fireplace was attached in such way, that more of the inside needs to removed than just the door and trim or frame. To install the new gas fireplace I’ve purchased would require additional piece(s); after a discussion we’ve decided it would be easy now to convert it to an electric fireplace if desired.
