"Bob Warren was simply terrific, i had a great experience consulting on my crawl space. Really, Ive never had a crawl space and while having one in my first home i did not know what to look for that was in need of repair. Bob did a thorough job looking over it for me and very honestly delivered me feedback. Turns out i am not in a dire need of repairs but when i do, i know who to turn to. Thank you Bob, and GroundWorks for the professionalism"

No down time compared to another company who told me it would take a couple of weeks to complete! ?.....jb concrete construction had Very fair pricing and was able to show me some photos of his work which I loved! "Ryan is amazing.  He did more than just "stain" our concrete - he's an artist.  We worked together on colors and designs, but ultimately it's Ryan's artistic capabilities that lead to a beautiful statement.
Our first contact with Ryan set the tone for out relationship.  We sent an email via his website and received a reply within minutes.  He arrived early for our first appointment and he was exactly on time for all subsequent meetings.  This meant a lot to us since we didn't have the same experience with previous contractors.
Ryan is honest, capable and a joy to work with.  I just wish we had more work for him to do - he's amazing.

"A day due to unforeseen complications on a previous job, so extra guys were brought in to make sure my job got done without any further delay.  This job was in addition to a ficus tree removal and stump grinding done earlier in the year, both of which were done well.

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling can last anywhere from five to 10 years or more, and in some cases, it can be a permanent solution. The longevity depends on the method used and whether the underlying cause of the sinking is addressed. For example, mudjacking typically lasts five to 10 years, while polyjacking can last for 20 years or more. It's best to consult a professional for an accurate timeline based on your specific situation and any factors that could cause the issue to recur.

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.
