"Great in every way!! Started Dec 19 and worked like Santa's elves. They arrive at 7:30 and work til 5:30 and bring their lunch and drinks. They are organized, diligent and Greg is honest and provides great value ( he was half my first estimate to save my pool from going down the hill!) Mine was a specialized concrete project and the slabs had to be jacked up and 85 bags of concrete had to be put under the slabs to form a retaining wall. Then they built a deck and put together a large gazebo. Everything went so well I hired them to finish off my garage and they did THAT quickly and for a good price. Being GREEK descent, Greg knows how to make atone and concrete and rooms that will LAST. He also fixed some plumbing that another handyman did that didn't work. He is pleasant, amenable to changes . "We are delighted with the work done by Modern Home Remodeling, to install a classy tiled shower, repaint the interior and replace carpets. Their project manager clearly listened to our needs and wants = to freshen rather than redesign, to keep the oak vanities and good-condition countertops, to correct small “problems” that we’d lived with for decades, and to focus on changes that we’ll enjoy in the ten years that we still plan to live in this home. The tiled shower transformed the shower experience, brought spaciousness to a small room, and was done by an accommodating and experienced crew. The project manager expedited the schedule, committing to a start date of February 20 but beginning the work a month earlier and finishing by February 28, 2023. He brought tile and carpet samples to the house, that both followed the earth tones in our home and created a light pattern-rich tiled shower. Our disruption and moving of personal items was minimized as the painting was done in four days and was followed three days later by a one-day carpet installation. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed.
