"Excellent craftsmanship. Paramount Pavers more than exceeded my expectations. They were accommodating, professional, courteous, respectful and timely. I highly recommend Paramount Pavers for all aspects of landscaping and concrete work. They demolished a 55’ retaining wall, constructed a new wall and a new driveway. The work is impeccable. Great Company. Thank you Isaac, Rudy and Edwin for caring for my project, like it was your own."
"This is a great company. Brendon and Ozzie couldnâ t be any nicer. They installed turf in our backyard. The guys did a fantastic job. We highly recommended them for all hardscape and turf."
"We recently had a retaining wall built at our home and couldn't be more pleased with the results. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, the team was professional, punctual, and easy to work with. They listened carefully to what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The workmanship is excellent—solid construction, clean lines, and everything was completed on schedule. They also made sure the surrounding area was left neat and tidy once the job was done. It's clear they take pride in their work. Highly recommended to anyone needing a retaining wall or other hardscaping projects. Quality work and great customer service!"
"A slope in our yard made the space hard to use, so we added a retaining wall. Way To Go Builders managed the
project and suggested a reinforce concrete footing to support the block wall above it. The crew dug a deep trench, installed rebar, and poured a solid base. Once cured, the wall was built up and capped for a clean look. Drainage was included with weep holes and gravel backfill, which prevents water buildup behind the wall. The wall spans nearly 40 feet, transforming the yard into usable, level space."
"I recently had the pleasure of working with Just Stamping Concrete for a landscape design project, and I cannot recommend them enough! They are a true gem in the industry, and their work speaks for itself."
"After thorough research and consideration of multiple bids by other companies, we finally settled on Etan Home Construction. WE ARE THRILLED WITH ETAN'S RESULTS! This family owned and operated business is superior to the competition. Edward and his team are exceptionally talented with decades of experience. Equal measures engineers and landscape artists, Etan skillfully rendered our dream yard into a reality. Consistent and conscientious, Etan arrived early 6 days a week, exceeding our expectations in both work performed and daily clean up. We hired them to conduct exterior concrete demolition, create a 30â artistic rock wall, weed removal and grading of a chronically difficult yard, new concrete patio and driveway installation with large tree planting and native plant landscaping for our front yard. Etan's professional commitment to completing our yard under budget and on time was delivered with clear communication and integrity of operations. The results of their work is so excellent, in fact, that we are planning to hire them again, this time for the backyard. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND ETAN FOR YOUR PROJECT. You will not be disappointed."
"We first met with Liz, the landscape designer, and contracted her to do a design plan. She listened well to our needs and came back with a plan that we really liked, particularly the design of the lawn terrace. She provided helpful options for our design dilemmas, such as replacements for our gravel patio. She offered options at various price points to give a sense of the range of options. In the end, she came up with ideas that we would never have thought of on our own. The crew did great work. I feel very comfortable with the quality of the work, particularly the retaining walls (including french drains, waterproofing). Dee, the owner and contractor lead, made some good changes as the plan was implemented, such as incorporating a bench along the lawn terrace and removing unnecessary stairs. They gladly accommodated two changes we made along the way (changed retaining wall materials from timber to cinder blocks, enlarged size of paver patio area). We had a few issues getting the new irrigation system working 100%, but Dee was on top of the issues and fixed the items promptly. He was committed to making sure we were 100% satisfied with the final results. He said they will come back after 90 days to replace any dead plants and fix any issues, if any. Overall, I would gladly work with G & L Design again and recommend them to others with their landscaping projects. We couldn't be happier with the end product."
"We are thrilled by the results! Mike and his crew took out 10 boxes of dirt from a hill in our back yard all manually! They then installed a 50 x 4ft retaining wall (fully permitted) on the hill. After that poured a 60 x 10 concrete deck and steps to our new upper deck that now overlooks the pool. They then covered the new wall and existing lower wall with new custom colored stucco. We have now doubled our backyard space and for the first time in 12 years be proud to show off our backyard!

Retaining Wall Installers questions, answered by experts
If you don’t backfill a retaining wall—either at all or adequately enough—the wall won’t drain well, and water will be able to pass through it. Poor drainage will lead to a warped wall or a buildup of hydrostatic pressure, which can eventually collapse your retaining wall. If you have particularly sloped land, consult a structural engineer to ensure your hardscaping is adding value to your home.
If you've decided you'd like to skip the cost of restoring a brick exterior wall after considering whether you should repair or replace brick on your house, you can consider installing fiber cement siding over brick for a cost of $2 to $6 per square foot. When done properly, cement siding over brick offers a durable, low-maintenance option that can actually reduce your home's energy costs. It's also attractive. However, improper installation or installation over heavily compromised brick can cause water damage.
Each design is different, so we can’t say definitively if you’ll need a dedicated drainage system in place for a two-foot retaining wall. However, you can likely skip the drainage, as this project is typically served for walls that are 4 feet tall or more. Even with a relatively low wall, consider drainage if you are building on top of clay or poor-draining soil types or if there are buried water sources nearby, like a well used for other outdoor garden projects.
Through proper drainage solutions and compacting the foundation soil.
The lifespan of a retaining wall varies based on its material, installation quality, maintenance, and local climate, with an average range of 20 to 100 years. Retaining walls made from durable materials like concrete, stone, and brick generally last a minimum of 50 years. Concrete walls typically last between 50 and 100 years, while brick can last for over a century in ideal conditions. Timber retaining walls can last from 20 to 40 years, depending on the wood quality, and pressure-treated wood walls average around 30 years. It is important to note that a retaining wall can fail prematurely if it was poorly constructed, for example, with inefficient footings or without necessary rebar reinforcements.
