"Bruce did a good job of keeping us informed when what would be done on our deck. Everything went so quick once we decided to go with them. The deck looks like new again."

"Alex & his team did an excellent job painting our mid-century rancher. The entire job was expertly done: Prep was thorough & attentive. All cracks were repaired and sealed, wood trim sanded, grills replaced, window edges sealed. Two coats of prime, two coats of high quality paint which Alex advised on. Painting was smooth, polished, deep and precise. Final walk through matched proposal and any other agreed along the way adjustments. Alex is trustworthy, friendly, honest, fair and has a can-do attitude. He adhered to the timeline and always kept us informed of progress or issues that needed to be addressed. He was patient, flexible, and made sure all of our concerns were addressed. The patient crew was terrific--- on time, hard working, polite, respectful, and of good cheer. They did their jobs well, took pride in their work, cleaned up respected the property every day. Overall, the house looks fantastic--- fresh, energized, extremely well appointed, and more valuable!"

"Yunior and his team were exceptional?professional, highly skilled, and consistently reliable. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and their attention to detail and pride in workmanship were evident throughout the project. They used high-quality materials and delivered flawless results, completing everything on time and on budget. Compared to another painter I recently used, the difference was truly night and day. I would absolutely use them again without hesitation and highly recommend them."

"Ivan and his crew were absolutely wonderful! They not only painted our entire house a new color, but they also removed and replaced window frames that were rotten or termite damaged. All of their work was top notch: professional, friendly, on-time and with excellent communication skills. My wife and I are so pleased with the job Ivan and his crew did, that we highly recommend him to anyone who needs their house painted; you will not be disappointed, I promise you."

"Hired to paint massive pergola, backyard surrounding fence and both side gates. I knew what color i wanted, but it was nice for him to put on different shades before staining. So I felt more comfortable with the final color decision. Easy to talk too and did not feel pressured at all. Pricing was the best from the 3 bids. Overall a pleasant experience, and did a great job! Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

The staining or painting process involves cleaning the deck, sanding surfaces, applying a primer (if needed), and carefully applying stain or paint for an even, lasting finish.

You don’t necessarily have to remove all the old paint before repainting your deck, but it’s best to remove as much as possible to ensure a smooth and long-lasting finish. Prioritize scraping off loose, peeling, or flaking paint, and sand down rough areas to create a smooth surface for the new paint to bond with.

Choosing the best color for your home exterior should factor in longevity as well as your personal taste. To keep your house looking newly painted as long as possible, stay away from red paint. Although red homes pop and are quintessential for country-style barns, red paint tends to fade fastest in the sun. Go with earth tones if you want paint that best resists fading.

Wood stain is typically dry to the touch within 6 to 12 hours, but it is not fully cured at this point. You should wait at least 24 hours before applying a second coat or a protective finish. For surfaces like decks, avoid walking on them for at least 24 to 48 hours, and wait even longer before placing furniture. The full curing process can take from 24 hours to one week, depending on the type of stain. Factors like high humidity and cold temperatures can extend drying and curing times, so it's wise to allow for extra time in these conditions.

Wood stain does go bad, but it will last in the can for between three and six years, provided you use proper storage techniques. Storing wood stain in open containers or in extremely low or high temperatures will cause your wood stain to become unusable much more quickly. Water- and latex-based wood stains typically last for just two to four years, while oil-based wood stains can last for three to six years.
