"I was looking to get a general idea of pricing. They took the same elevation measurements as a competitor. Their verbal guess on pricing ($30k) was 50% higher than a competitor, but their suggestion was to do 50% more piering than the other company. Their explanation of why it needed more shoring made sense in the measurement data they showed me. Their pricing difference made sense, but I told him not to bother to finalize a proposal because the whole project regardless of who did it was more than I wanted to tackle. Will Crawford inspected the concrete slab under the floor and performed accurate measurements of the house leveling inside and outside the house. Despite the uneven floor, he concluded that the house did not need any foundation repair and that the uneven floor was caused by imperfections of the concrete.slab. He spent a lot of time in my house and provided an objective assessment of the house foundations not influenced by considerations of personal advantage. He provided unbiased recommendations about how to improve the floor leveling. I was very impressed by his professional ethics and technical knowledge.
